I grew up with a family dog for 14 years, and for the last 2 years, I've been a cat parent to my own kitty, so I understand both dog and cat personalities. I’ve been the sitter for my friends and family whenever they go out of town. Plus, giving back to animals is super important to me; I've been volunteering at animal shelters since high school and still do today. Whether your fur baby needs lots of playtime, long walks, or just some cozy cuddles, I'll treat your baby like my own! My work gives me flexibility throughout the week. From Monday-Friday, I normally work in the office from 12-6pm. So, I am available for early morning and late morning walks before I leave, and I am back in time for dinner and evening care. My weekends are pretty open, so I have plenty of time for extended visits and walks. I follow all the rules and instructions you give me for both your house and your pet's care. “Chandler was an AMAZING pet and house sitter! I expected this based on her other reviews, but our dog and two young cats seemed to adore her! Usually when I board my dog he comes home very stressed out. This was such a different experience- he was just his normal, happy self. Chandler is very communicative and sent us photos and updates of our pets, letting us know how they were. She kept up on all the pet duties, brought in the mail, took out the trash, and left the house better than she found it. She's also got a lovely personality! Next time we need to go out of town, I hope she's available because this was an amazing experience!”

About: Hello there! My name is Ian, and I've been a dog walker of and on for about 7 years now. I grew up with a black lab by the name of Rocky. He and I were best friends. The kind of friendship where he was always excited to see me, go out for walks, and steal the blankets off of me at night! That's the sort of friendship I'd love to share with your dog. I'm experienced with both dog sitting and walking. Before doing either, I like to take some time to visit both you and your dog so they get used to me and vice versa. I like to try and give your pet comfort and a chance to adjust to me. For dog walking and visits, I try to be flexible with my hours. I try to show up early or right on time, if I know I am running late I make sure to call to let you know so you can adjust your schedule if need be. For house and pet sitting, I like to try and leave the house cleaner than when you left it for when you get back. If I am pet sitting, I make sure to stay with your pet throughout the day, and if I plan to do any walks for others during my time there I will make sure to inform you and talk things over to make sure your dog still gets the best treatment and care that they deserve. I'm also capable of making sure of giving them any medication that they might need as well as possible additional care. I'm hoping to meet you! I currently work part time! I am available starting after 3PM on Mon - Thursday, and free for any time Saturday and Sundays. My current plan is to try and free up more of my time to be able to help in the mornings too! I am more than happy to help make any personal adjustments your pet might need. That can include feeding, more of a focus on play time, or any other need. About: My schedule can be sort of flexible. I specialize in cats and frequently look after pets on military bases. Will only look after well trained dogs. If pet is located on Joint Base Andrew's, frequent walks and checkups are possible. Otherwise low maintenance animals are preferred as I'd only be able to check up in the afternoon/evening. I have a cat that I play with often. I cut his nails and bathe him weekly. Im aware that every animal is different so I'm flexible to different personalities and needs.

We walk your pup/s on a leash at all times unless we have access to an enclosed yard. Generally, we prefer to crate overnight especially if this is your first time using Rover for dog sitting, but we can adapt as needed. Your pup will spend most of their day outside of their crate but perhaps, contained in a part of the house (e,g, watching tv in the sitting room or hanging in the kitchen while we prepare meals). We will try our best to incorporate their usual routine and preferences whenever possible. For puppies, we prefer to crate/contain in confined area.

About: I have been a lover of all animals for as far back as I can remember and have taken care of them both personally and professionally. I have been employed by zoos and aquariums, worked with tigers, made diets for birds of prey, and assisted Marine Biologists with shark tanks and coral reefs. They have designated areas for when the hoomans are out of the house where they are allowed to nap and play with their toys or each other. Both have been socialized and are respectful of the other dog in the home. Both dogs get 3 walks per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening to ensure they are exercised as well as some off leash play in the yard. For clients, I am attentive to each animals’ needs and respectful of owner requests. It is important for me to get to know your fluffybutt as much as possible in order to provide optimal care.

About: Hi! My first gift as a baby was a white german shepherd named Pepper that I grew up with and I've been a dog owner ever since. Friends even brought me a stray found on campus at GWU, Wiggles. He was our house mascot. And I've owned and cared for dogs ever since. I started rescuing dogs in 2010 in Oakland. I found forever homes for 13 dogs. Your dog will be safe, made comfortable and well cared for by me. I'm happy to care for senior dogs or puppies and anyone in between. I am attentive. Responsive to them and focused to obey your instructions concerning your fur baby. I want them to be happy while you're away and I want you to be comfortable while they're in my care. Most of all, if anything happens, I know how to respond quickly. My 12yo Weimaraner Gideon passed away during the pandemic. I've been fostering.
