House Sitting in Crofton

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for a few years and have grown to love it! I recently worked at a dog day care so I have lots of experience with dogs and giving medications. I also have some vet experience too! I’m currently in college part-time but living at home. Outside of schooling I’m available in the afternoons and weekends. During the summer I have full availability. I provide a safe and caring environment for all pets. I make sure they have fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of attention. I follow the owner’s feeding and care instructions closely and keep pets supervised to ensure they stay happy, comfortable, and safe.

“Chandler was an AMAZING pet and house sitter! I expected this based on her other reviews, but our dog and two young cats seemed to adore her! Usually when I board my dog he comes home very stressed out. This was such a different experience- he was just his normal, happy self. Chandler is very communicative and sent us photos and updates of our pets, letting us know how they were. She kept up on all the pet duties, brought in the mail, took out the trash, and left the house better than she found it. She's also got a lovely personality! Next time we need to go out of town, I hope she's available because this was an amazing experience!”

About: I've grown up around cats, dogs, and guinea pigs my entire life. I've watched the neighbors and multiple friends pets many of time. I have also worked with horses and done barn work and good majority of my life. I am a wildlife major at the University of Maryland and do a lot of work with all sorts of animals and can promise I am equipped to work with all sorts of pet personalities! I work 10 am-4 pmMondays through Thursdays so I am available before in the morning and all afternoon and evening. Fridays - Sunday I am available most of the day, with an occasional restaurant dinner shift from 4pm-10:30 pm, with which I am still very flexible and can help out during the day and after work. As an animal lover with experience caring for both pets and other animals, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection while maintaining their usual routine. I follow all owner instructions carefully, monitor pets for any signs of illness or discomfort, and keep their environment safe, clean, and secure. I also provide regular updates to owners and closely follow any special instructions regarding diet, behavior, or medical needs.
