“Talia was very accommodating to our requests even though some of them were last minute. She is very thoughtful and sweet. Our pets seemed to have warmed up after the initial meet up. She treated Kuma and Kitty as her own. We’ll definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Heather was outstanding watching our two dogs and cat while we were away for 2 weeks. She is reliable, communicates clearly, and is very comfortable handling multiple pets. During our trip, one of our dogs had an unexpected medical issue, and Heather handled everything start to finish. She recognized something wasn’t right, notified us and with our ok took him to the vet, kept us informed the whole time, and took care of the treatment he needed to get better. Her experience working in a veterinary setting really showed, and while we felt completely comfortable trusting her to make the right decisions, she also made sure we knew what was going on every step of the way. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and everything in great shape. Heather is truly extraordinary and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Rachel was amazing! She took excellent care of my dog while I was out of town, allowing me to enjoy my time away without any worries. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures. I highly recommend her as a sitter!”

“A true star! Taryn was able to come and look after my 4 large breed dogs on last minute notice. She followed all my instructions perfectly and from the pictures you can really see how much my dogs loved her and happy they were. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have been taking care of pets for as long as i can remember! House sitting, dog walking, petsitting, and dropping in- I have experience doing it all! Having two dogs of my own (and a bunny), my life has always revolved around getting to know the personalities of the animals around me and learning how they like to be loved. I am comfortable around all dogs! I’m happy to spend time with your anxious pup or your ball of energy! I’m currently working part time, and am home from college for the summer. I’m studying psychology and neuroscience and so I have a passion for the well-being of your pups! The safety of your pets is my main concern! I will care for your pets with care and respect- while keeping you in the loop! My camera roll is full of photos of my favorite animals to play with!
About: I grew up with several dogs living in CT. Over the last eight years in MD I have offered to pet sit and walk or let out neighbors dogs building clientele. A dog to me is more than a pet its a loving companion, its therapy! Nobody else gives you unconditional love like a dog everyday you come home. I'm currently working remotely, which gives me the freedom to stay at the house all day and to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well taken care of. I like to stay at the client's home to make them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment and so they can stay in their routine.
“Jessica was great even though Chuck was a bit timid and unhappy that I was not home … she did a great job giving him his pills and making sure he was ok … highly recommend !! Thanks so much”

About: Hi! I’m Julia 😊☀️ For as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by dogs. Growing up, I had all kinds—from dachshunds and pit bulls to Australian Shepherds and lovable mutts—and I’ve fallen in love with each and every one. I’ve previously worked at a veterinary hospital as well as a pet boarding facility, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m now a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful, animal-loving girls who may occasionally join me. I truly believe dogs are best friends and should be treated as such. You can trust that I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I’m at home every day with my two daughters so I have a wide open schedule. I took a 3 year break from rover to raise my babies and now I’m looking to get back to dog walking! I have a lot of availability and love to be outdoors- rain or shine. I live on a 6 acre farm that has some areas fenced and lots of room for my 2 dogs to run and explore. I love to let any dogs that I watch get out some energy by running and getting to sniff & explore everything in sight.
“Always love working with Serena! What is more important is that the kitties love her too. Wonderful communication and will absolutely be chosing Serena for future care.”

“Michael was incredibly helpful and accommodating to my cat. We just recently lost our other cat and Michael took extra care to make sure everything went smoothly. He took lots of pictures too! I highly recommend him and I will be rebooking for future trips.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and previously worked in a doggy daycare, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I’m experienced with dog walking, safe leash handling, feeding routines, medication administration, and recognizing signs that a dog may not be feeling well. I’m especially comfortable with large and high-energy dogs and always use a patient, gentle approach to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, or extra attention, I’ll treat them like my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine and is something I genuinely enjoy. During the week, I’m available all day, which makes dog walks and drop-in visits a great fit. Spending time with animals is something I find both fulfilling and rewarding, and I love being able to provide pets with attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care needs to help pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I take a patient, gentle approach and pay close attention to each pet’s body language and personality, whether they love attention or prefer their space. I also make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, plenty of exercise and enrichment, and lots of love. Regular updates and photos are always provided so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

I have a small fenced yard if the service will be done in my home, and will follow the pet parents routine if the service is at your home.

“I did not get to meet Hailey in person, but, my grandmother did and said that she was very nice. The smiles on my dogs faces, from the pics that she sent, show that she took good care of them. Hailey was very communicative and punctual. She showed up at the agreed upon times and sent lots of pics, which we appreciated. This was my first time using Rover and first using a professional dog walker. I highly recommend Hailey.”

“Heather was a fantastic Rover sitter for our dog, Rosy!! She went above and beyond throughout the entire process from my initial inquiry all the way through the booked visits. Heather made sure Rosy was well taken care of while we were gone and she kept us updated throughout our time away, including plenty of photo updates. Heather is knowledgeable about animals, kind, friendly, and is clearly passionate about what she does. This was our first time using Rover and I feel really grateful that we found Heather! We will no doubt use her Rover services in the future! Thank you again Heather!!”

“Melissa was punctual and detail-oriented. She looked after Max and Kashimo for over a week with care and thoughtfulness. When we take another trip, Melissa will be our first choice.”

Hailey was great with my dogs (7 yr & 2 months). She gave a run down of what transpired each visit and sent pictures too. I felt so comfortable and relaxed that my girls were in good hands during the day when I couldn't be there. I will definitely use her again in future.

Trishia was fantastic!! As a new mom of a diabetic pup it’s a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to properly administer insulin. I scheduled Trishia for a drop in and she so gracefully gave me tips and tricks to help the process be more comfortable for Faye and I in the future! I will absolutely be booking her again in the future.
