I work full time, but typically work remotely 2 days a week. During those remote days, my schedule is very flexible and I can take breaks to play or feed or take a walk. During the in-office days, I work from 8:30-4 but I can spend the night to make sure your animal can get the care they deserve.

Depending on your needs, I can drop by or stay in your home to care for your animals where they are most comfortable. I am confident giving animals medicine, crating them, and of course playing! Before sitting a new animal or house, I like to visit or call to get a full list of what exactly needs to be done so that your pets are well taken care of. I am also comfortable doing small tasks around the house (taking in mail, watering plants, etc.) - just ask!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, behaviors I need to know about, allergies, etc. I am experienced with all sorts of dogs, I just need to know before hand what to expect! If your dog likes a specific play style or has to avoid certain spots around the neighborhood, let me know that too!

I love to stimulate animals both physically and mentally. We will take a nice, long walk, stopping to sniff the most interesting smells. We will play whatever style your dog prefers - tug-of-war, hide the treat, fetch, whatever! I'll also make sure we get in lots of time for pats and maybe some brushing too!

I grew up with animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to hedgehogs and guinea pigs! In addition to being used to feeding, playing, walking, etc. I also learned how to carefully and safely care for animals with various medical problems. I am practiced at giving both dogs and cats oral medication as well as caring for animals with aggressive tendencies. I often sit one cat who has a seizure disorder and needs oral medication twice a day. Previous sitters had called the owners to come back to town because the cat would not take the medication from them. For me, I followed the cat's lead and slowly built up trust between me and him. By the time I needed to dispense the meds, he was rubbing on me and took the pill immediately the first day I met him! With your animals, I will approach them with the same method - follow their body language and let them get to know me so they feel comfortable with me!
