About: I’ve had dogs on and off since I can remember. I truly feel that dogs are life savers. I love fur babies and care for them with love and respect. I’m a homeschooling mom of two beautiful kids 8 & 5. We have plenty of flexibility to care for your fur baby. We will care for your dog like we care for ours. We will make sure to make him/her feel safe and happy. I have a fenced in backyard and gates to block areas that are not safe for dogs. We have extra playpens in case a fur friend needs a brake from my Yorkie or other dogs we may be boarding. We have plenty of toys, food bowls, blankets and treats to share.

About: I have always had at least one dog at a time growing up. I've had dogs that were 200lbs to 50lbs. Growing up I cared for a bunny, a ferret, multiple exotic fish, 2 cats, a frog, and 4 dogs. Growing up in Texas I walked the neighbor's dogs and one ferret. I have applied to work at animal rescue shelters along with working in veterinary clinics. My last job was working at a doggy daycare center/boarding for dogs, cats, and exotics. At this job, I bathed, monitored, fed, played, and most importantly loved the animals. I have been on and off babysitting and walking my grandmother's hyper goldendoodle since he was a month old. Currently, I have 2 medium-sized goldendoodles, a whites tree frog, and a persian. Currently, I have nothing filling up my daily or weekly schedule. In the fall I will have virtual college classes. These classes will allow me to learn from home while being able to love and take care of your animal at the same time! I make sure to give the animal as much love and attention as I give my own animals, which is quite a lot. I have always spoiled my animals as much as I can. When scolding them I do not touch them. I will clap and make a "nuh-uh" noise and this tends to usually catch their attention. I try and make sure my animals stay on a routine so they never feel forgotten, lost, or confused.
13. Ryjean R.
“Ryjean is a delight to work with. He treated my pets as if they were his own. The care shown for my two fur babies and my scaley baby was awesome. He made me feel comfortable and I look forward to working with him in the future.”
14. Bailey A.
“Most importantly, Bailey loves dogs and arrives for her assignment on time. She follows directions. She is able to handle and energetic 80 pound puppy!”
15. Alison R.
“Through our dog walking relationship, Alison is now a part of our family as she takes care of my best girl, Silver Lab, Willow! Willow loves her walks, scratchies, treats and attention that Alison provides with enthusiasm and optimism! Alison is very reliable and goes the extra effort to ensure I know that Willow is having a blast! Alison is overall an awesome human as I would highly recommend her for pet walking, sitting and more!”
16. Patricia Q.
“Patty has been a fantastic dog walker for our labradoodle Sierra. She is always prompt, is so friendly, and Sierra loves her. Patty proactively reaches out when the scheduled walk may be compromised by bad weather, and we work together to reschedule. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hello, We are the Shields and we are Paw-sitively excited you’ve considered us to care for your pet while your away. Everything we know we’ve learned from a dog: kindness, love joy, patience, perseverance, responsibility. Pets have been our best friends since childhood. I adopted my first dog at 9 yrs. old, around the same age I proclaimed I wanted to be a veterinarian. While I did not pursue a career as a vet, I’ve maintained my love of animals; as an owner of hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, fish, dogs and cats. With a career in education now, the skills I have learned as a pet owner have surely influenced my teaching style. My husband, ‘the dog whisperer,’ can form a bond with dogs instantaneously. With their keen smell, they can sense he is one of the pack. His protégé, our son, has also developed this skill and speaks fluent ‘woof.’ As a former pet owner of 13 years, we understand the importance of finding a safe and reliable place for your fur family members when you travel. We will ensure our fur guests well-being as these friends have given us the comfort and strength to overcome many of our life’s journeys. And life… is just better with a dog. I work full time as a remote employee with a small non-profit. I typically work from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday with flexible hours. If I am out of the house at any-time running errands, there will always be someone at home to care for your fur-member. In the Summer, I also work half-day Fridays. Our flexible schedule allows us to accommodate a variety of routines. As a mother of a 2-year old, I am no stranger to routines and more-so the ability to adapt and re-route as needed. We believe providing the best pet care, begins with a listening ear. As the pet’s owner, you know your fur-child best. We will follow the directions provided by the fur-parents ensuring your pet feels loved and safe. We live in a two- story townhouse in the heart of Crofton Md with a spacious open concept living and dining room area. Pets are welcome to roam freely as long as they are trained. Our neighborhood is extremely pet friendly. Beyond the fenced backyard there is a dog park less than a few feet away. There are also surrounding parks, lakes and trails close by. My son and I frequent the parks weekly. He loves to stop and look at the wildlife and dogs on their morning and afternoon strolls. Whether it be taking your pup on a walk, preparing food for them to dine with us during meal time, or taking a nap together, we are excited to extend our home to your little loved one. We will maintain your pets schedule for walks, playtime, feeding, and medication administration. I’m in my thirties now, but still live by the Girl Scout law to leave a place better than how I found it. Whether providing boarding or stop in sitting services, we’ll be sure to go the extra mile; cleaning liter and food bowls, meeting for meet and greets… We’ll also capture the special moments and send you updates so you don’t miss out on any of the memories: Fun in the sun playing fetch Walks in the park Cuddles with the family on the deck And belly rubs before bedtime
