“Miranda has been absolutely wonderful, I’m so glad I found her. She was available with short notice to walk my dog a few days a week while I’m at work. She’s very reliable, punctual and she’s been sooo patient with my sweet boy and his behavior issues. I love seeing his Rover Card and hearing how the day went and seeing the pics she’s taken! She’s a real natural with animals. It’s such a relief knowIng he’s well taken care of when I can’t be there.”
“Jasmine was very kind and patient with my greyhound who has anxiety. She was very professional, communicative, and flexible while we were out on vacation. Would definitely hire her again!”

“My pittie loves Lucie. He looks forward to their daily walks. Lucie has been such a godsend walking him daily as I cannot walk him right now due to my health. She is punctual, friendly, observant and very flexible. We really enjoy having her as our pet walker.”

About: With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and being a proud dog owner myself, I’m dedicated to providing loving, reliable, and attentive care for every pet. From daily walks and playtime to personalized attention and specialized care, my goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine, allowing me to provide dependable care while giving pets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s walks, feeding, play sessions, or companionship, I enjoy creating a positive and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. When caring for dogs in my home or a client’s home, I focus on safety, comfort, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine. I begin by learning about their schedule, preferences, and specific needs to ensure personalized care. I provide regular exercise, enrichment, affection, and follow all feeding and medication instructions carefully. Throughout each stay, I keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always feel connected and reassured. Now that it is summer I am free mostly all of the time! I have a few vacations, and possibly other things that may come up but I will always make sure my schedule is clear! At home I let my dogs out every 2-3 hours, I feed them at the same time everyday, and make sure they have plenty of exercise! I really enjoy playing with my dogs at home as well, weather thats running around out back, playing tug-of-war, or even just going on a walk! Overall my favorite time of day with my dogs at home is bed time, my puppies sleep with me every night!
“OMG!! Lanese was a last minute lifesaver before my trip! She was very thoughtful and accommodating towards the task of daily walks for Max. Lanese was always on time and made sure she thoroughly fulfilled the walk. Her daily communication while I was away gave me assurance. She is a 10/10 and I definitely recommend her for any one in need of her services! Will definitely call on again in the future! Thanks so much!!!”

“Always on-time, great communication, flexible, and my dog’s new favorite playmate, Rebecca is professional and comes highly recommended by me…I don’t just trust my puppy-friend-son with anyone.”

About: I’ve owned dogs of all sizes and cats my entire life! I’ve grown up in a big animal lover home so I love to occasionally foster, volunteering at shelters and pet sitting! I have decades of experience with animals - dogs, cats and reptiles! I’m comfortable teaching new commands, and grooming if requested! My cat and dog are both good with other dogs and cats so they will love the company! I currently work from home full time so expect lots of cuddles, walks throughout the day and trips to the parks on weekends! I’m currently working at home full time with a flexible schedule so I’m able to fit in feeding times, walks throughout the day and plenty of cuddles! I have a dog and cat of my own so a furbaby’s needs are already part of my everyday life! I have a shaded fenced yard and an entire home for your furbaby to explore! I have a very friendly dog and cat (both small) that love new friends and will keep your furbaby company with playtime! We will fit in several walks in a day in my very quiet and green neighborhood, plus so park time on the weekends if allowed! I have a very comfortable spacious crate if it is preferred for continued training and my own toys and blankets which I have cleaned regularly !
About: Caring for animals has always been part of my life (horses, goats, chickens and my beloved GSDs). I volunteered at a humane society and interned there as a dog trainer as part of my formal behavioral dog training program. My training philosophy focuses on positive and constructive relationships between dogs and their carers. I strive to create a “fear-free” environment focused on the needs of the dog and the expectations of the owner(s). In caring for my own dogs, I do all my own bathing and grooming and provide massage for rehabilitation, health benefits, and to comfort and calm them. My formal dog training education includes a Pet CPR and First Aid certificate as well as a Pet Massage certificate in addition to my certification as an Obedience Dog Trainer. Massage proved to be of particular benefit to my senior dog who suffered with osteoarthritis. Training and care of senior dogs is often overlooked and I aim to positively impact this area as well as providing the highest standard of care for dogs of all ages. I am currently completing a course on dogs with aggressive behaviors as part of my continuing education in dog care and wellbeing. My at-home hours enable me to provide lots of stimulating mental and physical activities in caring for your pups and older dogs. This schedule allows me to provide careful monitoring and supervision of your pet. Dogs will be crated at night for safety and for no more than two to three hours during the day for adult dogs (less for puppies). I have a small training room with dog play and fitness equipment indoors and have a large fenced-in area for outdoor play, exercise, and training. Any activity will be agreed based on client needs and all activities will be constantly monitored and supervised. This is also an extremely dog-friendly area for loose-leash walking. You and your wishes will be respected and your dog’s needs will come first. Additional services may be requested.
“I’m very happy with the care she showed to my 3 dogs. She was attentive and quickly learned their individual personalities. I look forward to rehiring her again in the future.”

“Ryan was reliable and showed up on time and made an extra effort to get to know my dog and make my dog feel comfortable. I really appreciate Ryan walking Eli and will be booking him in the future!”

“Allison is great. Our dog loves her walks. On the very first day Allison took our dog for a walk, when we got home that evening, our dog insisted we take her another walk the second we got in. I guess you can never get enough of a good thing. I am grateful for Allision being there when we can’t be with our dog. I also appreciate that Allison is quick to communicate and plan each week with us.”

“Julia had to wait out a thunderstorm before she could go over and walk my dog. He gets nervous during storms, but he was quite happy to see Julia when she arrived and acted as if nothing was wrong.”
“Mike is good with large, energetic dogs. He's able to be flexible about when the walk should begin should the owner's schedule need it. He's makes sure you know when he has arrived.”

Talia was amazing, as always! This was our second time booking with her, and once again everything went smoothly. She communicated well throughout the stay, kept us updated, and took great care of Luna. The entire process was easy and stress-free. We definitely plan on continuing to book with her in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. 🐾😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
