I’m a swim trainer at the Canine Fitness Center in Crownsville, where I have the opportunity to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I have extensive experience caring for elderly dogs, injured dogs needing extra patience and attention, young puppies learning the ropes, and active dogs who are simply there to have fun and stay healthy. I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual needs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. At home, I have my own furry crew: my 5-year-old Labrador Retriever, Scorchy Paws, and my two cats, Pete (11) and Tommy (10). They’ve taught me that every pet has their own quirks, routines, and ways of showing love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending my time around animals and creating a schedule that allows me to give them the attention they deserve. I’m currently working part time, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality time with pets in my care. I’m typically available Sundays and Mondays, along with one additional weekday that varies depending on my work schedule. I’m happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that fits their needs and their pet’s routine. Whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check-in, playtime, feeding routines, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I love being able to make pets feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to help with meals, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and giving them the attention they need while you’re away. For walks, I’ll make sure they get exercise, enrichment, and a chance to enjoy some time outside. I’ll always take the time to learn your pet’s personality, habits, and any specific care instructions you have. I know pets feel most comfortable when their routine stays familiar, so my goal is to provide dependable care while giving you peace of mind that they’re being looked after.

“Sabine was amazing! It was the first time I used her and would highly recommend her. She took care of my senior dog that’s 14 years old. On the day I was leaving for vacation, I discovered my little pup was getting some swelling below his eye which was growing in size noticeably before leaving. I made an emergency apt for him to be seen at the vet and Sabine was so flexible to take him to and from the vet apt. He went home on medications which she was administered. After a few days he had to go back for a tooth extraction. Unfortunately, my trip was extended and I was really worried how this would all work with not being home while my dog undergoes surgery. Sabine made herself available to take him for his second trip to the vet for his surgery. She managed his medications, gave me thorough updates and really was compassionate for my little pup to help him on his way to recovery. I can’t express how grateful I was to have found her. I was at ease knowing she was there with my little guy while I was away.”

About: I have been caring for my own pets for 10+ years and could like to get into formal care. I have also pet sat for my friends and family in the past. As of now I am available daily for pet sitting or walking. I don’t mind waking up early. Would prefer not to be out too late alone. I like to hang out with my dog and take him for walks. About: I have provided housesitting services and cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, and other animals for over 10 years for family, friends, and my own pets as well. I'm currently unemployed and available during most weekdays and weekends if necessary, as well as being open to working with your schedule as needed. I listen to the pet owners needs and rules, and any concerns they may have for how to care for their pet and adjust my plans accordingly.
