“Jennifer, Champ, and I just got to know each other this week. Day 3, there was some unexpected work that needed to be done to my apt that required Champ to be in his kennel. The maintenance people approached Jennifer to say they were ready, which was completely unexpected while I was at work, and she just jumped right in to make sure Champ was taken care of. She went above and beyond to be sure to move his kennel out of the way to a warmer spot and that he was secure and safe. This was no small feat as Champ has kennel issues when the door closes (phobia given past rescue experience) and can be very scary for the person closing the door. She is amazing and so caring!”

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I begged my mom to get me a dog around that time as well. I promised her I would take care of the dog and do all I needed to do. With that being said I became a pet owner and trained my dog all by myself . From the simple commands, and crate training. I love to treat my current dog(Chloe) like a baby. From cuddles, long walks, nice tasty treats and all the love I can possibly give her. Sometimes I do travel and when I do its hard to find someone to keep Chloe. About: I have walked dogs of sizes ranging from terriers to huskies. I am used to dealing with skittish, nervous, excitable, and/or rough dogs. I have walked young dogs and old dogs, ran energetic dogs, and slowed down for older dogs. I am free most times of the week and weekends and wish to fill the time getting exercise and experience by spending time with animals nearby. I mainly run dogs around the neighborhood or bring them to local parks to get our steps in. I like longer walks/runs and am cautious about a dog's behavior around others and on the leash.

Malik was an excellent dog walker! He sent pictures when he was out with the dog. He texted me to make sure that he was at my place and when he left my place. What a nice young man and a very decent and generous person! He is very well adept at taking care of dogs. I have seen how he takes care of other dogs in our neighborhood. Ryan has been such a huge blessing. We walk our neighbor's dog regularly but since I was traveling for two weeks, we asked our neighbor if we could hire a dog walker for that time. Ryan not only managed a big strong dog but willingly accepted the dog's owner walking with him. She has some medical challenges that make it hard for her to walk her dog but she still wants the exercise. He was always early as well as patient, kind and respectful. We will definitely use him again.
