About: I’ve been a lover of dogs since I was 8 years old! I grew up with dogs in the house and have had them in my life ever since. I’ve dog sat for friends and family over the years and have always enjoyed their company and making them feel loved, comfortable, and attended to. I work from home which allows me to be present with the dogs, play with them throughout the day, and overall keep them company. I’d be more than happy to send you updates to see how they’re doing For drop ins and walks, I have open availability on Tuesdays, Fridays,Saturdays, and Sundays. On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays I am available after 5pm. I currently don’t dog sit in my home. But I’m willing to check up on them often to ensure they don’t feel alone.
About: I have been caring for my own pets for 10+ years and could like to get into formal care. I have also pet sat for my friends and family in the past. As of now I am available daily for pet sitting or walking. I don’t mind waking up early. Would prefer not to be out too late alone. I like to hang out with my dog and take him for walks. He’s pretty lazy though so we just sit together a lot of the time. I will follow any instructions you leave.
“Michael is a great dog walker and pet sitter! Bailey is obviously very happy to see him, eagerly greeting him when he arrives, and cheerfully trotting off with him for his walk.”

“Vergil took the request with less than 24 hours notice and quickly am a connection with our pups. He clearly took the time and effort to maximize their walks and they got great exercise. He even managed to accommodate an extension ensuring we had a great time while we were away. We will DEFINITELY work with him again.”

“Brett is a great asset to my family. Shadow adores him and I am so very happy with his services. I am physically unable to walk her as far or fast as Brett does. Also, he is a consummate professional. Randye Brittain”
About: Hello! My name is Sadé, a lifelong animal lover with 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I take time to understand each dog’s unique needs, routines, and quirks to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies who need training and structure, to sweet senior dogs who need a little extra patience and tender care. I’m also comfortable with leash training, crate routines, and special diets. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or cozy snuggles, I’ll make sure your baby feels like family. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll keep you updated every step of the way with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I work remotely Monday through Friday with plenty of breaks in between, so I’ll be able to give your pets plenty of attention, walks, and play sessions I live in a decently sized apartment with enough space for your pets to run around and play. There is a spacious, clean dog park on the premises as well as quiet neighborhoods with multiple trails to walk. I currently have a 2 year old Pug named Bruce to keep your pet company! Bruce is playful, friendly, and very well socialized with other dogs. All pets will be supervised, so no need to worry ! Walks will be fun for your pet , I like to take them on trails and let them sniff around for as long as they need. I am very good at recognizing signs of stress and exhaustion in pets, so safety will always be a priority on walks.
“Rachel did a fantastic job with our golden doodle while we were on vacation. She is reliable and really cares about our pets - she is a joy and we were able to relax with her updates. Highly recommend - and our dog Cody gives her 2 paws up! 😃”

“Elizabeth took excellent care of Gracie. Very reliable. She communicated with me in regard to both scheduled walks, one feeding and giving Gracie her treats. V has been absolutely wonderful with my baby boy, Chester. He is always excited to see her when she comes to walk him. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. She is incredibly reliable, kind, and flexible with scheduling. Anytime there are changes, she’s always willing to work with me, which I truly appreciate. I completely trust her to keep Chester safe, happy, and well cared for. She does an amazing job, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring person to be with their dog.
Sam was absolutely wonderful. She walked our dogs on a regular basis for the past few months. She was always on time, made sure to provide plenty of info and pics, and was extremely flexible with our always changing schedule. Our pups will miss her daily visits as we are moving away. Thank you for treating our dogs just like your own.

Kayla took care of Enzo once again for this weekend while I was out of town. Enzo had some unprecedented health issues on the day I had left but Kayla ensured that he was always safe and cared for. She also kept constant communication with me and kept me up to date with any changes that had happened. She is an amazing sitter and I can’t recommend her enough!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
