About: I have had cats since 2018, when we went to a shelter and found a little orange fluff hiding under another cat. Since then, my family has accumulated a gang of 8 cats! Some younger, some older, I have experience with kittens as well as older cats. I don’t have as much experience with dogs, just occasionally walking them but I am looking to learn and happy to tend to every pet’s needs! I am available late evenings and on weekends for any needs and to meet all the fur babies! I have a full time job, but I am free after 4-5 PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends. About: I've had all kinds of animals since I was young. I've always had a heart and compassion for my furry friends. I always offered and helped my older sister whenever she would nanny for two big dogs, a husky and a golden retriever. Going on walks or jogging with some company would be wonderful and refreshing for both parties. We currently have two cats named Boba and Boomy. Madeline did an OUTSTANDING job watching our 2 dogs ( A Collie & A Sheltie) in our home 24/7 for an entire week. No accidents on the floors & lots of great photos of the dogs sent to us each day ! Corinne was great with my three cats. Two of them are very affectionate and need a lot of love. The third is really shy. Cornnie spent a lot of time with the needy ones and had calm energy for the shy one. My shy cat actually ended up headbutting her by the end of the week and he has never done that with a sitter before! We will be booking with Cornnie again.
Lakshmi was an amazing Rover find, and I appreciated her every step of the way. She was willing to visit my home first and then welcomed me to her home so I could make sure I felt completely comfortable before booking. Throughout the stay, she sent frequent updates and photos of my dogs happily playing both inside her home and outside in her fenced-in backyard, including with her own big and little dogs—a setup very similar to mine. I never worried about whether they were safe, comfortable or having a good time. She even managed to teach my almost one-year-old standard poodle to stop constantly harassing his much smaller Pekingese brother to play! I came home to a noticeably more peaceful house, and Lakshmi gave me helpful tips for maintaining that progress. Her lovely home sits on a corner lot with a sizable yard where the dogs could get plenty of exercise. She also already had crates available, so I did not need to bring my own, and she provided pickup and drop-off, which made everything incredibly easy. I now refer to Lakshmi as my dogs’ honorary grandmother, and I am so grateful I found her. She clearly understands dogs, and I will absolutely book her again when I travel for work or pleasure. I highly recommend her!
