About: i have lived with pets my whole life both cats and large dogs. currently we only have cats but I feel comfortable taking care of low maintenance dogs as well. i live in a house with multiple cat and have primary responsibility for some of them including litter box cleaning, grooming, feeding, watering, all basic needs. Madeline did an OUTSTANDING job watching our 2 dogs ( A Collie & A Sheltie) in our home 24/7 for an entire week. No accidents on the floors & lots of great photos of the dogs sent to us each day ! Lakshmi was an amazing Rover find, and I appreciated her every step of the way. She was willing to visit my home first and then welcomed me to her home so I could make sure I felt completely comfortable before booking. Throughout the stay, she sent frequent updates and photos of my dogs happily playing both inside her home and outside in her fenced-in backyard, including with her own big and little dogs—a setup very similar to mine. I never worried about whether they were safe, comfortable or having a good time. She even managed to teach my almost one-year-old standard poodle to stop constantly harassing his much smaller Pekingese brother to play! I came home to a noticeably more peaceful house, and Lakshmi gave me helpful tips for maintaining that progress. Her lovely home sits on a corner lot with a sizable yard where the dogs could get plenty of exercise. She also already had crates available, so I did not need to bring my own, and she provided pickup and drop-off, which made everything incredibly easy. I now refer to Lakshmi as my dogs’ honorary grandmother, and I am so grateful I found her. She clearly understands dogs, and I will absolutely book her again when I travel for work or pleasure. I highly recommend her!
