“Madeline did such a wonderful job taking care of our pups in our home for the weekend! She was super responsible and responsive and it was clear our babies had a wonderful time with her. We will definitely reach out to Madeline again for future dogsitting!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for several years through family, friends, and personal experience. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and following specific care routines. I work a consistent 1pm–9pm schedule, so pets in my care are comfortable being alone for up to 8 hours. Outside of that time, I’m fully present for morning routines, evening care, overnight stays, and lots of love and attention. I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away, and I always treat every pet like my own. Pet care fits well into my routine, as I’m available mornings, late evenings, overnight, and on weekends. I work a usual consistent 1pm–9pm shift (however my schedule does change, so 1-9 isn’t always guaranteed.), so I plan my pet care around providing reliable morning and evening routines, potty breaks, feeding, walks, and quality time. I’m organized, dependable, and respectful of each pet’s individual needs. prioritize safety, cleanliness, and clear communication at all times. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet parents, including feeding schedules, potty routines, and any special care needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain a calm, clean environment for their pet. I’m attentive, patient, and always make sure pets feel secure and comfortable. I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Sarah is the best you’ll find! She is reliable and trustworthy, and to add to that, she will love your pup as her own. Sarah is so good about sending pictures to ensure peace of mind while you’re away from your animal(s) and our 85-pound, hyper golden retriever, Pepe, always seems so content and happy in the updates she provides. When we come back, the house is clean and Pepe seems to be in great shape. Highly recommend Sarah!!!”

About: I am very detailed oriented and will ensure that your pets walk, sitting or drop in visit will be smooth and seamless. I make sure I follow all instructions and use my discernment from prior experience to ensure your pet is content and happy! I tailor the activities (running, fetch, playing, etc.) depending on the dogs energy level, interest and ability. Almost every dog I have met warms up to me very quickly or eventually during the walk. I will ensure to deliver top notch service to not only you at the pet owner, but your pet as well. I am able to handle a variety of dog breeds, sizes and temperaments. For dogs that most walkers/sitters would be afraid of, or hesitant to work with, k am extremely comfortable. I have experience working with blind, deaf and physically challenged dogs.
“Chandler did a fantastic job watching our Maltipoo at our home while we were on vacation. She was with him for 11 nights. As others have mentioned, she leaves the house better than how we left it. I am a helicopter dog mom and I asked for lots of photos and updates before we left and she delivered. She is also witty and takes the best photos and provides g funny updates. We would use her again and again. .”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life, and pets have always been a huge part of my home. I cared for my dachshund for 16 years, and now I’m the proud Dog Daddy of a 6-year-old Bernedoodle who I raised and trained from puppyhood. I also have two cats, so I’m very comfortable with multi-pet households and understanding the different needs of dogs and cats. Outside of my own pets, I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends and family for years. I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds, ages, energy levels, and personalities — from seniors to high-energy pups and everything in between. I’m patient, calm, and confident handling pets who are shy, excited, or need a little extra reassurance. Whether it’s sticking to a precise routine, giving plenty of exercise, or providing extra comfort for anxious pets, I tailor my care to what makes your pet feel safe and at home. I work fully remote, which allows me to be flexible and responsive during the week. I’m available most afternoons and evenings, and weekends are generally open. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Safety and comfort come first. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I keep their routine consistent — from feeding and walks to playtime and downtime. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and engagement, and I respect each cat’s personality, whether they want play, cuddles, or space. I keep water bottles and bowls refreshed, maintain a clean environment, and send regular updates so you always feel connected and informed.
“We are a repeat client of Connie for our two doggies, Atlas and Luna. Connie is very professional and our pups have taken a huge liking to Connie despite their shy and quirky nature. Luna loves Connie despite Luna being very timid around new people. Atlas also really enjoys her company. Connie sent daily updates and photos. We trust her with our pups and our house. We will continue to use her! Thanks, Connie!”

“Bronte was everything we needed in a pet-sitter! She was lovely and personable, and immediately put us at ease when we needed a sitter for our elderly terrier rescue who has recently lost her eyesight. Bronte really has a "sixth sense" when it comes to caring for special needs dogs. We are grateful for her help and gladly give her this 5-star recommendation!”

“Tyasia V. was a most wonderful caretaker of my cat Agape while I was away 4 and 1/2 days. She clearly loves animals and was very attentive and loving to my cat of 18 years with kidney disease. She was especially wonderful because she came about 5 times to not only meet Agape but learn how to give her infusions, injections of fluids she needs for her kidney disease, which she gave Agape in my absence along with other medications. She was so gentle with Agape as well as playful. She was honest, communicated regularly with me about Agape...sent photos. And left my apartment spotless. I will use her again when I have to go away for a short while. Thank you, Tyasia”

“I cannot say ENOUGH good things about Paola. Our senior dog, who has cancer, was very ill when we left on a trip -to the point where we considered not going. But Paola put us at ease and took INCREDIBLY good care of her. She truly went above and beyond - not only making sure that she got all 8 of her daily pills but also trying all kinds of different foods to get her to eat, figuring out how to get her more enthusiastic about going on walks, and more. She kept us constantly updated and could not have been more attentive. And she left our house in great shape too. Thank you Paola!!”
“Sierra took excellent care of our fur baby TRUE🐶🐾! We were updated on all his walks play time and play dates with his new fur friends boarding with him for four days! I felt confident with our meeting with Sierra that True was in a safe environment and welcoming!”

“Marina was nothing short of an amazing sitter! Came home to a very happy dog. She maintained our Mochi’s routine and was even mindful of getting potty breaks in before bad weather rolled in. Marina was communicative, thoughtful, caring with Mochi, very respectful of our home and altogether reliable. I offer the highest recommendation!”

“Shanae is easily one of the best sitters we have used in a while - we used to have a go-to sitter that moved away for grad school and went through a few additional sitters without much luck on a good fit, but we're incredibly happy to have found Shanae. She took care of our dog as her own, took her on even longer walks than we regularly do, sent pictures, and our dog seemed so happy and relaxed when we got home, when in the past she has seemed more relieved than happy. We're sure Abby looks forward to seeing her again!”

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats from a young age. I've enjoyed pet sitting animals in their homes for family members and friends over the years. I also have experience in freshwater fish tanks and hermit crab habitats. I’m also interested in exploring lizard, snake, and bird habitats. I’m currently at a point where I have a decent amount of free time on my hands and currently don’t have a pet of my own. Looking to help others with their pets to fill the space before choosing a new forever pet I’m very patient and follow instructions well. In the care of others pets I know they are a family member and they would want them treated that way. Safety is always a top priority. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. With love, kindness and compassion.
“Katherine was amazing with my girls!! She was able to do a meet and greet before our booking and ever since was very responsive and kept me update all the time. At the time of her stay she was very respectful of our home, and took amazing care of my dogs. Definitely will book again!!”

“Peggy is the best! She is super thoughtful and took great care of our dog while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. This was our first time leaving our dog for more than a few days and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt good about going away. She followed our usual routine and sent daily photos and updates which we loved! She really does love and care for your dog as if they were her own and I felt at ease knowing I could trust her. She even offered to water my plants and take in our mail and she left our home spotless. We cannot recommend her enough and we will definitely book again for our next trip :) Thank you, Peggy!”

Carriage Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
Madeline watched my 3-month-old puppy a few times. My puppy loves her and feels safe with her. She is calm and loving and knowns how to handle an energetic puppy. Madeline sent me updates throughout the day with pictures. She is a wonderful pet sitter and we love to have her back. Highly recommend her.

Macaiah provided excellent care for our two dogs during the Thanksgiving holiday. We received regular updates, and pictures. Our fur babies were treated with lots of TLC, healthy walks, play , treats when appropriate and relaxing music. She is awesome and I would definitely invite her to take care of them again!

Vanessa is a very reliable pet sitter and a great communicator. She sent us pictures and videos of our pups, which we greatly appreciated. Our dogs were well cared for. Vanessa followed our directions, and asked us to clarify when unsure. We felt comfortable leaving our home and dogs in her care. Highly recommend!!

We found Kelly to be very professional and trustworthy. She was able to manage our huge dogs that are not the best listeners and did it so well :-) We were able to enjoy our vacation as a result. This is the first time I used the rover app as it was recommended by a friend so we were not sure what to expect. I highly recommend Kelly 💕

Mackenna was great with our cats and dogs! I felt super comfortable leaving them with her, and I came back to happy pets! :) she also took care of my plants on the deck, so extra big thank you for that! Mackenna also had great communication and was very responsive. I’d recommend her to family and friends! :)

Haylie was INCREDIBLE!! When I tell you she treated our dogs like they were her own family, I think our dogs would've preferred if we were gone longer!! We booked her for one overnight visit and she left the place in immaculate condition, you wouldn't be able to tell anyone was there! We have two corgis, one who loves people and the other who is more standoffish, but within hours of us leaving our shy corgi was already in her and her boyfriend's lap pressing his head against their cheek like he does with us!! They took them consistently on walks like we asked and I'm sure got a lot of playtime, because while we were only gone overnight, we came home and they passed out not long after! YOU NEED TO BOOK HAYLIE! She was a delight and we're absolutely going to hire her again in the future.
