Lakshmi was an amazing Rover find, and I appreciated her every step of the way. She was willing to visit my home first and then welcomed me to her home so I could make sure I felt completely comfortable before booking. Throughout the stay, she sent frequent updates and photos of my dogs happily playing both inside her home and outside in her fenced-in backyard, including with her own big and little dogs—a setup very similar to mine. I never worried about whether they were safe, comfortable or having a good time. She even managed to teach my almost one-year-old standard poodle to stop constantly harassing his much smaller Pekingese brother to play! I came home to a noticeably more peaceful house, and Lakshmi gave me helpful tips for maintaining that progress. Her lovely home sits on a corner lot with a sizable yard where the dogs could get plenty of exercise. She also already had crates available, so I did not need to bring my own, and she provided pickup and drop-off, which made everything incredibly easy. I now refer to Lakshmi as my dogs’ honorary grandmother, and I am so grateful I found her. She clearly understands dogs, and I will absolutely book her again when I travel for work or pleasure. Took phenomenal care of our three pups. Jessica paid close attention to them and even bathed them when they seemed especially itchy. She sent lots of pictures and was extremely communicative!
