I have an extensive background with dogs, especially my high-energy Jack Russells that I’ve raised since 8 weeks old. They have taught me so much! I love to spoil my pets and your pets, too. My Dad is a K-9 trainer and handler trainer for Homeland Security (specializing in explosives detection) and my sister works at a pet resort. We love dogs. It is in our blood. I have a lot of experience, patience, and understanding especially with puppy and senior care. I love meeting new pets and know they are our children because I treat mine like they’re my children, as well. Your pets and home will be in great hands with me. This is the second time I’ve used Lauren and so happy to be able to get her again. She treats your fur babies like they are her own. She stuck to my special instructions I had. She knows how to work with energetic or shy ones. She keeps in communication with pictures too. She was there with them all day and night which eased my mind. She cleaned up after them and kept the house as it was before I left. I will definitely be using her whenever I need someone.
This was our 2nd time having Lauren care for our dog, Penny, and our home, and as expected, everything went smoothly. We found Penny relaxed and happy when we got home. The house and even the plants on our deck, had been cared for fantastically (in 100+ degree heat!). Can't say enough good things about Lauren--we trust her emphatically with our girl and our home and she will always be our first choice on Rover. Very grateful to have found her!

Lauren is awesome! I had initially scheduled a local pet sitting service to care for my dog Penny during a long weekend away, but grew very uneasy when I found out the local service would be sending 9 different people into my home to care for Penny over the 3 days. In a panic, thinking we'd have to cancel our trip, I began desperately searching on Rover. Can't believe how lucky I was to find Lauren, who sounded too good to be true. She literally responded right away to my inquiry, and as we corresponded I felt immediately at ease with her, and knew we could trust her to care for Penny and our home as if they were her own. I was not disappointed! Lauren took fantastic care of Penny for three days, checked in with us often, alerted us when Penny didn't eat her meal (not unusual for Penny), and left the house in great shape for our return--I couldn't have asked for more. She saved our long weekend. So grateful to have found Lauren and plan to use her in the very near future again.
What can I say? I would give ten stars if possible! Lauren is the BEST! I relied on all of the reviews on Rover and I was so glad that I did. Our dog is a rescue and while he is sweet, he can be quirky at times so we wanted someone that understood quirky dogs. We hadn't left him in over two years because our sitter moved away and because our other dog, his sidekick, recently passed away from old age. Finding Lauren was a godsend. She was very communicative, amazing with Teddy, and the house was cleaner than we left it! We are so appreciative of her and the amazing job she did for us. We went away knowing our boy and our house were in excellent care and we didn't have to worry. The only downside is we think Teddy misses her more than he ever missed us, LOL! He adored her. We adore her too! Teddy has a new best friend and her name is Lauren. Thanks so much!!!

Schedule
I am currently working virtually so I will always be home with your pets. I have plenty of time to spoil, love, play with, and exercise your babies. I know how important it is to have the reassurance that someone is with your pets, pretty much, at all times. When I am away pet/house sitting, my dogs are staying with and being spoiled rotten by their grandparents.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety/trust is the most important part of being any parent. I will watch and protect your own as if they were my own. Also, I am extremely clean and will take care of your house just the same as I would mine. I’ve always believed, when in anyone’s home and once leaving, it should always look the same, like I was never there.
Pets
A typical day
I love to go for walks and do anything outside. I can always find a good lake to walk around, excellent hiking trails, or a dog beach wherever I am. If your pets are excited about going to new places, taking car rides, then they will have such a fun time with me. If they like to take it easy or just like simple walks around the neighborhood or staying in, we will do that, too. I play with them, sit on the floor, get down to their level, be silly, make up creative games to play, and give them lots and lots of attention. All animals are different and I am easily adaptable. All dogs and cats are welcome to sleep with me, as well.
