About: Over the years I've helped friends, family members, and neighbors with cat & dog care, ranging from walks to playtime and feeding. I am comfortable with reinforcing good behavior and obedience training. I work remotely most days, so I'm able to arrange regular times to care for pets, whether it's a mid-day walk, feeding breakfast or dinner, or administering medications before bedtime. I make sure all pet-accessible areas remain safe and clean. I do regular checks for hazardous items and clean up any accidents. If any toys or bedding become damaged to the point that they could cause harm to a pet, I secure them away from the pet and notify the owner.
About: I’ve been taking care of smaller dogs since I was 9, I’ve been around smaller dogs such as yorkies and pomeranians, recently I’ve watched/cared for Maltipoos and Mini Schnauzers under a Puppy Yoga Studio. Additionally I’d also like to mention the last few years I got to experience dog sitting for a bigger breed, an American Bully XL to be specific! I’m a full-time grad student in DC, but I reside in Maryland. I do commute to my classes in DC, my classes take place in the evening on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6pm - 10pm. I care for dogs based upon the instructions of the owner and of course with my own discernment and understanding of particular breeds and the behaviors that come with the breed. Nonetheless, love, play, and care will always be shown :)

About: I've cared for several kinds pets for my friends and family since I was 15. I have learned how to train dogs specifically in simple commands such as sit, down, stay, and leave it. About: Most of my pet care experience started January 2025 with the rescue of my pit-mix BB. She was the longest resident at the shelter, and just needed love and a chance. She has returned my fiance and I's love over and over. I grew up with family pets and outdoor cats, and knew the basics of animal care. I wanted a stable life to give any pet the life they deserve! Yasmine is the best person you could possibly have to care for your fur baby! All week I received detailed visit reports and many adorable pictures. First time I had left my 7 year old big kitty but after first visit knew he was in the best of hands! Yasmine even washed the couch cover when he threw up and took out trash/litter which I never would have expected. She figured out his favorite thing is to snuggle on top of you and indulged him. Yasmine will be one I call when need arises and I strongly recommend her!!!!!!

Taresse was great! This was our first visit (meet and greet). She communicated her arrival time, and my pets really liked her. Taresse cares greatly about the animals she cares for and it shows. She asked questions about anything that might make my pets nervous, and gave suggestions for how she would help them to feel more comfortable. One of my dogs is nervous to meet new people and Taresse made sure to give her space and time to feel safe, and by the time the visit was over my dog was asking for belly rubs!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
