About: I’ve taken care of and grew up around dogs since I was a kid. I also own a 6-year old dog in MD, my sweet girl Stormi, a German Shepherd/Chihuahua rescue that I’ve raised since 2020. I’ve taught her a few tricks in American Sign Language’s and we’ve also developed a few other communication cues. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine very well! I’m a professional basketball player going overseas much later in the fall! Feel free to negotiate times as I am able to be flexible. I am very alert and have a natural instinct for pet-sitting such as knowing when they’re trying to communicate with me about bathroom time, needing attention, and when something fishy is going on or someone at the door.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including through my volunteer work at a local animal shelter. Volunteering has given me hands-on experience with animals of different sizes, personalities, and needs and has taught me the importance of patience and making each pet feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience caring for pets of friends and family. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my weekly routine. I’m available throughout the week and can work with each pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s specific routine and make sure their needs fit with my availability. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and staying in your home. I will always follow your instructions closely and do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality and will provide plenty of care, attention, and updates throughout their stay.

About: Hi! My name is Renee and I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I grew up in a household with many different kinds of pets including dogs, rodents, and reptiles. I currently own two small dogs, Shih Tzu and Maltese mixes, one is 13 and the other is 3. I love all animals and am comfortable with them all. I’m currently unemployed so I have tons of time to care for and play with your furry friends! I’m mostly available on weekends as I have responsibilities weekdays, but I’m very flexible! I have a fenced in yard. I would keep my dogs separate just as a proactive measure since they are small. In your home I would care for your precious pet how you see fit!

About: I have been caring for my own pets for 10+ years and could like to get into formal care. I have also pet sat for my friends and family in the past. As of now I am available daily for pet sitting or walking. I don’t mind waking up early. Would prefer not to be out too late alone. I like to hang out with my dog and take him for walks. He’s pretty lazy though so we just sit together a lot of the time. I will follow any instructions you leave.

About: What Sets Me Apart I offer more than just a standard check-in or walk—I bring a lifetime of genuine animal love combined with specialized, hands-on experience to ensure your pets are safe, happy, and completely understood. Here is what makes my care unique: Senior & Special Needs Expertise: I have a deep understanding of senior pet care. Whether it’s managing medication schedules, recognizing subtle signs of discomfort, or just providing the extra patience and gentle pacing that older pets deserve, your senior companions are in incredibly safe hands. Puppy Training & Energy Management: Navigating the puppy phase requires consistent structure. I love working with young dogs to reinforce basic training, maintain potty routines, and channel all that amazing puppy energy into positive, healthy habits. Multi-Pet & Diverse Species Experience: My home is a sanctuary for all kinds of animals. From handling high-energy dogs and independent cats to caring for unique exotic pets like geckos, I understand the distinct body language and routine requirements of a truly diverse range of species. When your pets are with me, they aren't just being watched—they are being treated with the same deep respect, attentiveness, and family-level care that I give to my own. Pet care isn't just a side task for me—it’s seamlessly woven into the fabric of my daily and weekly structure. Because my routine centers around a flexible, home-based schedule, I am able to provide the consistent, attentive, and highly reliable care that pets thrive on. Here is how I integrate dedicated pet care into my routine: A Natural Part of My Day: Managing a busy, active household means I am already completely dialed into strict daily routines. Feeding schedules, fresh water refills, and multiple potty breaks are second nature to me and easily sync with your pet's specific internal clock. Built-in Movement and Fresh Air: I value keeping active and getting outside. Daily walks and high-energy playtime aren't chores—they are highlights of my schedule that allow me to give your dog the exercise, mental stimulation, and neighborhood exploration they need. Meticulous Environmental Care: Just as I maintain high standards for my own surroundings, keeping a spotless pet environment is part of my regular weekly rhythm. Daily litter box scooping, deep-cleaning food bowls, and organizing pet areas are deeply embedded in my normal cleaning habits. Evenings and Weekends for Quality Time: When the daytime rush winds down, my evenings and weekends are dedicated to winding down, too. This is when I love providing the quiet companionship, gentle grooming, and couch cuddles that keep pets feeling safe, loved, and part of the family while you're away. Because my life is set up to balance multiple priorities smoothly, your pet receives structured, dependable care without me ever having to rush their routine. Care in My Home (Boarding & Daycare) When pets stay with me, they aren't kept in isolation—they become part of a structured, lively, and highly attentive household. Seamless Integration: I run my daily business from home, which means your pet enjoys constant human presence and supervision. They are integrated right into our daily rhythm of work, play, and relaxation. A Sanctuary for All Personalities: My home is designed to accommodate different comfort levels. If your dog loves a pack environment, they will have plenty of company. If they prefer a quiet corner to decompress, I have dedicated, cozy spaces where they can rest undisturbed. A Safe, Social Environment: With experienced resident pets of my own, I am highly skilled at managing animal dynamics. Introductions are always handled slowly and safely, ensuring everyone feels secure and respected in the space. Care in Your Home (House Sitting & Drop-Ins) If your pet prefers the comfort of their own walls, my priority is maintaining absolute consistency, security, and cleanliness while you are away. Flawless Routine Replication: I follow your specific instructions to the letter. Whether it’s feeding at an exact timestamp, following a precise walking route, or administering medication, I ensure your pet's internal clock and habits aren't disrupted. Respecting Your Space: I treat your home with the utmost respect. In addition to keeping your pets happy, I ensure their environment stays pristine—handling meticulous litter box maintenance, keeping feeding areas spotless, and making sure everything looks exactly how you left it. Security and Peace of Mind: You will receive regular updates, photos, and quick communication so you never have to wonder how things are going. I also keep a vigilant eye on the security of your home, ensuring doors are locked, mail is brought in if requested, and the property is secure.

About: Dogs have been in our lives since childhood, and as pup parents ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to find a trusting person to leave your pup with in your times of need. As previous owners of an energetic dog [Cesar], and a foster dog [Argo], we are prepared for the active lifestyle required to care for some dogs. Similarly, we have experience with more relaxed dogs that just enjoy being pet and pampered. We currently serve as pet sitters for our friends who need dog sitting from time to time. I am open to communicating with you as much or as little as you'd like while your pet is with us. Don't worry, I'm that Dog Mom that Facetime's her pup so there's no shame! Currently working from home two days a week, I’d love to have a furry co-worker join me! My work is primarily centered around hosting meetings, and I’m probably the only person on camera without a pet! I have an open home with easy access to the backyard or front of the house for potty breaks. I can crate your dog if requested or let them roam around my baby-proofed home! There are gates and locks EVERYWHERE!

About: I provide reliable, attentive, and personalized dog care in my home with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels—from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a quieter environment and extra attention. I follow each dog’s routine closely and take the time to learn their individual needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. My goal is to provide a calm, structured, and safe environment where dogs can relax, play, and receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I carefully manage introductions, monitor interactions, and prioritize safety at all times. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and clear communication during your dog’s stay so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands. Whether your dog loves to play, lounge in the yard, go for walks, or simply relax indoors, I’ll do my best to make their stay feel like a home away from home. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m home for most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I plan my schedule around the dogs in my care so their feeding, walks, rest, and play follow familiar routines. This allows me to be fully present, responsive, and attentive throughout the day and evening. I provide a calm, safe, and structured home environment where dogs are closely supervised at all times. My home has a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time, and dogs are never left unattended outside. I keep care intentionally small-scale so each dog receives individualized attention. I’m comfortable with crating when needed, following detailed instructions, and accommodating special routines or medications. Cleanliness, safety, and clear communication with pet parents are always top priorities, and I provide regular photo and message updates for peace of mind

Leroy was so good with my boy even when he would pull his leash out of excitement and just handled him really well. He listened to all download. I gave him about Ranger and put me at ease immediately. I was out of town for work so he picked my boy up from my parents and ended up chatting with them. Also just showing what an overall friendly and helpful person he is I would recommend him to others and my Boy being a lab is strong and he handled him really well.

Astrid was such a blessing. I needed someone last minute to take our Charlie out for a midday walk. She stepped in and graciously accepted. If you want professional and reliable care, I highly recommend Astrid!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 17,766 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Holly Tree Estates. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Holly Tree Estates. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Holly Tree Estates.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holly Tree Estates. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
