About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. Jules was with us only briefly due to her advanced age when she was adopted, while Gemini is a much younger kitten who wasted no time claiming my home as her own. I also recently lost my 10 year old corgi (Sadie) unexpectedly to an extremely aggressive form of cancer, and so would love the opportunity to spend some therapeutic time with your furry kid. Prior to beginning work through Rover, I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs for a variety of friends, family, and neighbors including everything from drop-in visits and dog walking to full-time house/petsitting. Outside of my petsitting duties, I am a PhD chemist working hard to make the battery in your phone last longer and your electric car drive further. My wife and I moved to the Silver Spring area in 2024 for her job as a television producer and I am in the process of establishing myself in the DMV research community. Availability: Except in special cases, I am available for booking at any time of day, any day of the week. I am happy to provide everything from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays. I am currently working part-time from home, so I am excited to have the opportunity to care for your pets at any time! This can include drop-in visits to your home, overnight stays with your fur baby, and day-care or boarding at my home (as long as they're friendly with my cat Gemini). I am glad to visit your home as frequently as you prefer. All visits will include checks for water quantity and freshness, any prescribed food refills or walks, and of course play time. I'm also happy to provide overnight care for your pets and home if preferred, please send me a message if you are interested in more long-term visits. I'm also very happy to host your pets in my own home! I have plenty of room for cats and dogs up to 50-70 lbs. Both my wife and I have had pets our entire lives and between the two of us, someone is nearly always home to supervise and provide any needed care. Since I live in an apartment complex, I do not have a private yard but do have plenty of communal space for walks and other outdoor activity.

About: My kids and I love taking care of dogs and we'd love to help you when you're away from them. We have a fully fenced in home and plenty of space to let your pet spread out. We have been dog sitting off and on for many years now and welcome you in our home. I'm currently working part-time from home so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. My kids are home with me throughout the summer so we will all enjoy spending time and loving your pets Fully fenced in yard (front and back) great nearby parks and outdoor areas for fun and exercise. The yard does have a nice shady area if the summer sun gets too be too much. Large finished and furnished basement for lounging too.

I ensure your home stays perfectly clean and secure while providing constant love, supervision, and companionship to your furry family member. I offer basic dog bathing, blow-drying, and brushing. I am not a professional groomer, but I can do simple machine trims/shaves only if you provide the clippers and equipment. I do not do complex or professional scissor styling. About: I’ve been a pet sitter for friends and family since I was a child. I was a regular sitter for the sweetest dog that unfortunately had health problems and anxiety, so I have experience with pets that need a little extra attention! I can’t wait to make your pet feel loved and cared for. I’m currently a college student so I will have time between classes and on the weekends to care for your pet. Early mornings and evenings are great as well. I always prioritize safety over everything.
