About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. Jules was with us only briefly due to her advanced age when she was adopted, while Gemini is a much younger kitten who wasted no time claiming my home as her own. I also recently lost my 10 year old corgi (Sadie) unexpectedly to an extremely aggressive form of cancer, and so would love the opportunity to spend some therapeutic time with your furry kid. Prior to beginning work through Rover, I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs for a variety of friends, family, and neighbors including everything from drop-in visits and dog walking to full-time house/petsitting. Outside of my petsitting duties, I am a PhD chemist working hard to make the battery in your phone last longer and your electric car drive further. My wife and I moved to the Silver Spring area in 2024 for her job as a television producer and I am in the process of establishing myself in the DMV research community. Availability: Except in special cases, I am available for booking at any time of day, any day of the week. I am happy to provide everything from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays. I am currently working part-time from home, so I am excited to have the opportunity to care for your pets at any time! This can include drop-in visits to your home, overnight stays with your fur baby, and day-care or boarding at my home (as long as they're friendly with my cat Gemini). I am glad to visit your home as frequently as you prefer. All visits will include checks for water quantity and freshness, any prescribed food refills or walks, and of course play time. I'm also happy to provide overnight care for your pets and home if preferred, please send me a message if you are interested in more long-term visits. I'm also very happy to host your pets in my own home! I have plenty of room for cats and dogs up to 50-70 lbs. Both my wife and I have had pets our entire lives and between the two of us, someone is nearly always home to supervise and provide any needed care. Since I live in an apartment complex, I do not have a private yard but do have plenty of communal space for walks and other outdoor activity.

About: Hi! I’ve loved animals my whole life—I was always the one begging my parents to take in every stray I found 🐾 I’m currently a nursing student, so I’m very detail-oriented, responsible, and focused on safety. I also have a prior military background, which has taught me discipline, reliability, and consistency in everything I do. I’m very active and love running, so I’m great for high-energy dogs who need walks and exercise, while also being calm and patient with cats and more relaxed pets. I’m comfortable following routines, giving lots of attention, and keeping you updated with pictures so you always know your pet is happy and safe. My schedule varies with school during the week, but I’m available outside of those days, along with mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I also have occasional required skills hours, but I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs 🐾 During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and care based on their personality—whether that’s going for a walk, playing, or just keeping them company. I always prioritize safety by ensuring secure leashing, clean water, and a safe environment before leaving. I also provide regular updates with pictures so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away 🥰

About: I’ve taken care of animals for 25 years now. Growing up I had a dog, five cats, and our house was known to feed the stray cats in the neighborhood. I’m a huge animal lover. I’ve been pet sitting clients for the past 4 years, and I absolutely love the work. Dogs and cats are so sensitive to change, so I love catering to their needs to make sure their time apart is free from stress. I do this by maintaining their routine, providing plenty playtime/exercise if they’re open and able, lots of pets and cuddles if they’re interested, and staying home as much as possible so they can have the security of a present and consistent caretaker (overnight care). I want the pets to feel like they’re on vacation too! As for the pet owners/stewards, I love to send plenty of pictures and videos, so they can feel at ease knowing their pets are cared for! I don’t have a lot of selfies/photos with the pets but under my photos you’ll see all the sweet pets I’ve cared for! Please let me know if you have any questions! I’m a part time actor— mostly theatre. I’m free during the daytime and normally have rehearsals in the evening. When there are evening rehearsals I walk dogs in the early evening 5 or 6 before leaving and walk them before bed, around 10:30.** **As of April 12th 2026 I’ll have full availability for dog/cat sitting and dog walking I prefer staying in a clients home so pets can stay in an environment they’re used to. I provide lots of cuddles for the pets that need it. If clients have carpeting, I’d like to know their preferred carpet cleaning methods (I.e. machine or hand scrub) in case of any accidents.

About: I am an avid dog lover. I take care of dogs in my neighborhood - from Chihuahua size to 100 pounds or more. We enjoy long walks and meeting new pup friends! I even include baths if necessary. For some reason, my account won’t let me remove House Sitting - I have a dog of my own. Unless our dogs are introduced and get along, I cannot do overnights. However, I can do multiple let outs - including late at night and early in the morning. Cats are also lovely creatures and although they may not need walking, they get their share of love, too! All pets welcome with me! I have reliable transportation. I’m 31 years old with a college degree and a full time job. I don’t smoke and can walk more than one dog at a time. About: I’ve been a dog owner for about 6 years and have experience with both puppies and older dogs. I’ve helped with basic training for younger dogs (things like routines and simple commands) and understand the extra patience and care that senior dogs need. I’m comfortable adjusting to different energy levels, whether that means keeping a puppy engaged or giving an older dog a slower, more relaxed routine. I really enjoy spending time with dogs and getting to know their personalities, so I try to make sure they feel comfortable and settled. My schedule is pretty consistent with working from home, which makes it easy for me to plan walks and check-ins ahead of time. I’m available most days and try to keep a steady routine so dogs know what to expect each time. I also make sure to leave enough time between bookings so I’m not rushing and can give each dog proper attention. When I’m caring for a dog, I try to stick as closely as possible to their usual routine so they feel comfortable. I pay attention to details like leash safety, surroundings on walks, and any specific instructions from the owner. I’m naturally pretty calm and patient, which helps dogs settle in and feel at ease. I also make sure to communicate clearly and send updates so you know how things are going.

About: I have babysat and watched pets ever since I was young. I grew up with a dog, guinea pig, and cats! I currently own one gorgeous Bombay cat, Shadow Rose, and have 2 family dogs, Lucy and Ryan! Colleagues and families alike have been able to trust in my good service and care provided to their animals. I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I am available any time of day. Monday through Sunday, 3-10pm on weekdays and any time on the weekends! I care for pets by accommodating to each pets needs and desires. I get to know the spaces available both in and outside the home to give your pet lots of room to play and rest!
