“Amanda was great! We have a small, super friendly but high energy dog that will not sleep through the night unless she’s had enough exercise. Inanna slept through the night after just one 30 minute walk with Amanda. Will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Teffni was great! She was always on time, friendly, and my dog Chai was so comfortable with her. Chai was always excited to go with Teffni and always came back good and tired out.”

“Melika is very communicative and does a fantastic job. I’m very pleased with the work she does and the loving way she cares for Loki. I hope I get to use her services frequently.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and care. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel loved and secure. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on each pet’s needs, whether it’s an energetic puppy that needs playtime or a calm dog that just needs companionship. I am available in the mornings from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM. You can always count on me to be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing excellent care. In my home, I keep the space pet-safe by removing hazards, securing doors and gates, and providing a quiet area where pets can relax and feel at home. Pets always have access to fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, and plenty of attention and affection.
“Melanie was an excellent dog-walker! Incredibly reliable and communicative. She did a great job taking care of my dog, Theo, and I will absolutely be booking her in the future!”

About: Having been a pet owner most of my life, I have had extensive experience with traditional and non-tradional pets. I've retired in Kensington, Maryland and I am the grandma to a rescued bully mix who is the sweetest but laziest girl. She lives with me part-time, but my children take her for the other half and on day trips. *She will not be present for any boarding or day-care requests. She’s getting older and likes to spend her time in a quiet space, napping and being loved on or watching me garden. Previously, my children have grown up with parakeets, chickens, roosters, rabbits, turtles, gerbils, hamsters and fish. We would watch and care for our neighbors dogs and cats while they were out of town, but one of my daughters was allergic to dogs, so we only fully had one when she was an adult. I would enjoy walking companions and animals to look after again. Please keep me in mind, should you need help. I am retired. So, I have the availability to care for any animal and love going on walks, so pet-care and cardio would work perfectly! I will follow by the rules of the house and needs of your pets. In my home, dogs are allowed on furniture and sleep on the bed (when colder) but if you’re not in favor, we can stick to your normal routine. I am an early riser and light sleeper in case there needs to be frequent bathroom breaks for your pets, that’s not an issue!
“We've had to be away from home for long days for several weeks, and Anibal has been checking in on our dog twice/day almost every day. He is absolutely reliable, communicates extremely well & has been a real lifesaver during these times we've needed someone to keep an eye on our sweet dog.”

About: I've been surrounded by small and medium dogs nearly my entire life. I currently have a four year old Frenchton who is a ball of energy. I am a full time teacher looking to fill my summer with joy, laughter and pooches! No daycare services available at this time! But I look forward to adding soon. I live in the shaded portion of an Addison apartment complex. The complex includes a dog park that my pooch and I frequent on hot days or when she needs to sniff around.
“Had another excellent experience working with Michael. Despite the rainy weather Michael was more than happy to walk our dog Darcy and give him lots of outdoor playtime. Highly recommend Michael for your pet as he has become our "go to" dog sitter!!”

“Luna immediately took to James as bread does to butter. She is eager to go out with him every cold morning and waits by the door watching for him. James is extremely punctual, emails if going to be even a bit late, is enthusiastic about walking dogs and really "gets" Luna. Communication between James and Luna and James and Luna's mom is great. I have absolutely no complaints and no hesitation in recommending James to walk and care for your animal family. RSS”

About: I grew up around dogs and have experience training service dogs. I have taken care of dogs for neighbors, relatives, and friends for many years. I love to spend time with dogs! Let’s find a time to check in or go for a walk in the evening on weekdays or anytime Friday, Saturday, or Sunday! I am ready to care for your dog like my own, whether we go for a long walk outside or have a quick check-in :)
“Jonathan was great with our recently adopted dog that gave him a hard time. He was calm, patient and adapted to the situation as needed, communicating well along the way.”

“Azucena was amazing with our Yorkie Amelia!!!! She was very kind and had a lot of patience with her as she is a little unsure around strangers. She took her for walkies and let her sniff to her hearts desire, gave her medication, wiped her paws to remove the harsh snow melt, and was excellent at keeping us updated. We are so glad we found her!!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with two dogs, two cats, and a bird. I have many years experience pet sitting as well as grooming and a bit of training. I work from home, so I am able to keep a constant eye on your pets (: I’m also able to take your pets for long, frequent walks, and take them to a nearby park if that’s something you’re comfortable with! I work from home, and I love going out for walks. Depending on you and your let’s needs, I can take them out as frequent as you’d like. I also have a dog park right next to my complex that I love to go visit. I live in an apartment, but the complex is gated and fenced in around the courtyard and pet grooming station. The complex itself is very safe- no one can enter without a key fob.
“Looking for a dog walker who will be prompt, communicate well and give your furbaby all the attention? Look no further! Ashley is your person! Only great things to say about Ashley and my shih-tzu, Archie.”

About: New to this site, but I’ve been caring for pets for 40+ years. My family has had multiple dogs over the years of all sizes and type and I routinely care for animals in my apartment building. I prefer to care for one dog at a time but if they are siblings and well behaved, I can manage 2. Senior dogs are welcomed. Retired educator available any day to sit for your dog or take them for walks. I will take well behaved dogs overnight and will walk them 3 times/day for overnight guests. I live in a condo and have ample space to play including a large balcony. I can adjust to your dog’s needs and walk when they are used to going out. Nothing is too good for the pooches.
Glenview dog parents share their Rover experiences
Zaena was professional, timely and easy to work with! She is very quick to respond and was able to do a meet and greet same day. She took the time to make our dog Guinness comfortable before the first walk, took lots of pictures and had great communication updates for me. She even went out in the rain and made sure Guinness had his raincoat on. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Molly was always right on time, was patient and friendly with both dogs, was not afraid of the small one's ferocious barking every.single.day. and managed him with confidence. She was a great communicator and provided thorough reports about each walk. The dogs can't wait to see her again!

I would 100% recommend Kaitlin. She was loving and caring toward my dog, Teddy, and followed instructions on how to best care for him. We also set up a video call before she met him so she could get to know him better before the walk. She has excellent follow-up and is a great choice for your pet's care. I really appreciated her flexibility as well. Thank you so much, Kaitlin, for taking such good care of my dog. I will confidently use your services in the future, and I am so glad Teddy made a new friend.

Oluwaseun is such a wonderful dog walker! I will definitely use her again! She went far and above the walking responsibilities. She communicated before arrival and completion, sending cool photos of what my dog Ralph experienced on his walk.💗💗 She was attentive to all the details of what my dog needed. I felt so at ease having her walk my senior dog.
