“Anton has been walking our Pittie, Mihoshi, for months, and he is an excellent walker!! He’s very attentive to our pup’s behavior and communicates thoroughly. If we ever need to make adjustments, he is flexible. If he has upcoming plans, he informs us weeks in advance so we can work out the schedule together. I couldn’t recommend him more if you’re looking for a walker or sitter for your furry friend. :)”

About: I’m a dog-mom of a pup named Bear! I absolutely adore my dog and would share my love with your furry-friend! I’ve had Bear since he was a puppy and he’s now 4. So, I know first hand the level of care needed for puppies and teen dogs. I’m comfortable with cats as well! I’ve been around kittens and cats for most of my life through many of my friends. Though this is my first time on the app, I have sat dogs & cats. So, I’m very comfortable and familiar with the care they need. I work remote, so my schedule is pretty flexible. As long as I have good notice I’m happy to care for your pup! I do ask that if there are any request during regular business hours (8 am- 6 pm), that I can bring my work laptop. I’m not accepting any boarding requests at the moment, but I’m happy to provide any other service! I love my dog very much and am really on top of his care/needs, so I completely understand and expect that from pet owners. I welcome any insights or feedback on how you’d like your pet to be cared for. I’ll also be sure to provide updates, videos, and photos to show how things are going. I love getting those for my dog, so I’ll be sure to provide that to you!
“I’m so glad I found Michael to help take care of my new puppy. He’s patient (essential with a puppy!!), communicative, and has been understanding with last minute schedule changes and adjustments. And he leaves a detailed notecard and photo after every visit which I appreciate!”

“Amanda was great! We have a small, super friendly but high energy dog that will not sleep through the night unless she’s had enough exercise. Inanna slept through the night after just one 30 minute walk with Amanda. Will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Teffni is so sweet and communicative, and she had to deal with a lot: my dog not wanting to walk in the rain and the front desk attendant giving her a hard time. Really appreciated her help.”

“Denisse is very kind and responsible!! She visited my house mid-day for several days to take my two dogs for a walk and let them play in the yard while I had long days out of the house. Everything with the booking went as planned and the pictures were great!! I highly recommend Denisse for your pet sitting needs!”

About: I've taken care of my 4-year-old dog ever since he was a puppy, and before that, I've had parrots, hamsters, lizards, and other pets! I also take care of my family's pets. I just finished my last semester of college, so I am going to be free to take care of pets pretty much all day! I am usually available Mondays-Fridays from 8 am-2 pm! I have one puppy and 2 parrots at home! My dog has a lot of energy and loves going outside, so I am happy to take care of pets of all kinds of ages and personalities!
About: Having grown up with pets and as a former employee of Dogtopia, my main goal is to make puppy pals and all pets feel happy and safe. I really enjoy spending one-on-one time with the them to show them how much they are cared for and how much they’re loved. Since I work everyday with dogs I start out my day with saying hi to my cats and lizards I make sure they have water and food . Play with them a bit and check their litter boxes and tanks.. then after that I go to work and babysit dogs (25+) in one room or less depending on if it’s busy clean up after them make sure they are all getting along give hugs fresh water every 45 min and play till they go home. I take things slow I don’t force anything I want them to feel again ease and make to trust me . Do that they no I’m hear to make it an exciting day for them

“Melika is very communicative and does a fantastic job. I’m very pleased with the work she does and the loving way she cares for Loki. I hope I get to use her services frequently.”

“Liza is amazing and understands difficult dog behavior. We have an anxious dog who usually takes a while to warm up to new people which makes finding a dog sitter more challenging. Liza was patient with our dog and got him to more or less accept her on the first visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Azucena is fantastic! She paid close attention to whatever my dog Hazel needed, is very on top of it, is communicative as needed, and provided updates after each walk. I would recommend Azucena!”

“Gio was an excellent dog walker. She helped me when my current dog walker could not continue walking buddy. She reported all the details of the visit efficiently and gave us peace of mind. She was informative and responsible. This was my first time using rover and I had a great experience thanks to Gio. She has a true love for dogs and what she does. I will definitely work with her in the future.”

Jana was amazing! She was very patient and understanding, even when we forgot to leave the key for her to access Bella (completely our fault!). We really appreciated her flexibility and kindness. Bella was happy, got plenty of treats, and was clearly well cared for. We would definitely book Jana again. Thank you!

Concetta is terrific with my dog Riley, and she’s very responsive and great at communicating. She also asked many detailed questions about Riley that demonstrates how much she knows about dogs and her conscientious about taking care of them and ensuring that they’re comfortable.

Parisa is incredibly reliable, always on time, and goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is not only exercised but also happy and comfortable. I really appreciate the updates, photos, and little notes after each walk—it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my pup is in such great hands. Thank you Parisa! We will definitely reach out in future when we need help with Sky. 🙏

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
