“Ambar took care of our two cats as we had to go out of town due to a family emergency. She was kind, patient and professional. Especially one of our cats requires daily insulin shots. She was communicative the entire time and we highly recommend Ambar!!”

“Teffni was great — communicative, extremely prompt, friendly, punctual, and took great care of my five cats. I really appreciated the pictures she sent me and that she immediately responded when I asked about one cat who wasn’t pictured (she was napping). I’ll definitely try to rebook her for future visits.”

“Jazzel was an excellent dog walker. She helped me when my current dog walker could not continue walking buddy. She reported all the details of the visit efficiently and gave us peace of mind. She was punctual, informative and responsible. This was my first time using rover and I had a great experience thanks to Jazzel. I will definitely work with her in the future.”

“Anton was great with our cat Benji! Very responsive, attentive, and went the extra mile when helpful (like cleaning whole litter box instead of scooping when dirty or having a late night visit when his schedule changed). We’ll book with him again. :)”
“Michael cat sat for my two girls for the first time and it was a great experience! He was very communicative while we were out of town and quick to respond if we had any questions. While our cats were happy to see us return, it was clear they received plenty of love and attention while we were away.”
“Rebecca did great with our cats! She was so patient and kind with our shy kitty who also needs medicine, and was able to troubleshoot administration when things didn't go exactly to plan. Our girls will be excited to see her again in the future ❤️”

“I would definitely recommend Hyunjung! She left great rover cards with many photos. I wanted a sitter for drop-in visits to give my cat some playtime and company, and I could tell from the photos that he got just that. I hope to work with Hyunjung again in the future.”

“Aliyah was fantastic! She replaced a last minute cancellation and was so on top of everything clear and smooth. We were gone for our wedding weekend, and I was able to have 0 worried for my kitty cat while we’re gone knowing she was in Aliyah’s care <3”

About: I've taken care of my 4-year-old dog ever since he was a puppy, and before that, I've had parrots, hamsters, lizards, and other pets! I also take care of my family's pets. I just finished my last semester of college, so I am going to be free to take care of pets pretty much all day! I am usually available Mondays-Fridays from 8 am-2 pm! I have one puppy and 2 parrots at home! My dog has a lot of energy and loves going outside, so I am happy to take care of pets of all kinds of ages and personalities!
“Khadija is amazing! Given the pandemic, I had to book a sitter for my trip without meeting them beforehand, as my previous sitter was not available. Despite this, Khadija was consistently responsive during the booking phase and throughout the stay. My cat Rory was super happy and calm when I returned after 8 days and it was clear that he was looked after from Khadija's regular updates. Will be super happy to request Khadija to care for and play with Rory in the future. THANK YOU!”

“Natalia was so fantastic with our cats and us. It was our first time leaving them alone since we adopted them six months ago so we were anxious to leave them, but Natalia put us at ease that they were being well cared for while we were away. She is an excellent communicator and we really appreciated all the pictures showing them eating and having fun playing with them. Natalia went above and beyond to make sure that our fur babies were fed, watered, had clean litter, and human interaction. She is fantastic and we would feel fortunate to have her watch our cats again.”

“Jenni was a great pet sitter for our two cats! From our first easy and quick communication on Rover, I knew she’d be a caring and trustworthy person to check in on our cats. She took excellent care of them while we were away, and sent us cute daily updates on how our cats were doing with pictures. We felt they were in very safe hands while we were away!”

“Marion was so generous while checking on our cats during the holidays. She gave them extra love and attention above and beyond what we expected! We came home to very happy cats that were almost disappointed it was us walking in the door rather than her! Thank you so much, Marion!!”

“Julia was responsive, helpful, and willing to cover a busy thanksgiving weekend cat sitting and she wonderful with Apollo our cat. He has medical and social needs and she was patient and handled them with grace. Would highly recommend her.”

About: While I do not have a lot of experience, I am a very fast learner. Previously I have assisted with my friends training their dogs, walk my neighbors/friends dogs when they are unable to, and while I pet sit I make sure the pet isn’t too lonely. My attention to detail makes it easier to understand a dog/cats needs. I am home from college and starting in June I will start a job as a camp counselor. Until then, I have plenty of free time to your lovely dogs. I am free between late morning to the late afternoon. Weekends are when I am most available, but I am still available most weekdays. While I do not own pets of my own, when I pet sit for others I always make sure that I follow the schedule that is given to me and stick to the dogs routine. I always make sure that your pet has had a good walk.
Wheaton-Glenmont cat parents share their Rover experiences
Mary was absolutely exceptional with my cat Athena, who doesn’t warm up to new friends easily or quickly! By the end of their time together, Athena was showing her belly. This a true testament to the trust and comfort Mary’s presence gave her. Mary was a great communicator and I always got numerous cute photos and a detailed update. I would definitely recommend Mary to other pet parents!

Ilana was great with our two cats! She visited our house twice a day while we were away and made sure our cats were well taken care of. She followed all of our care directions and was flexible when needed. We appreciated her help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others!

Ashley did an amazing job caring for our cat. She provided detailed daily updates and pictures of our cat during her visits. We appreciated the consistent communication and felt she was very reliable. Ashley was also flexible with scheduling - we had to shorten our trip at the beginning and she was accommodating and came instead an extra time throughout the time we were gone. We can tell she had a gentle and caring approach with our cat, and understood what the cat needed. We’re grateful for it all!

Marika is the best. She takes great care of our older cat, and she always provides fun updates. In the past we even had a weather emergency at our house and Marika sent pictures and provided info for us until we could return. She’s not only dependable, but the animals love her too!
