“I simply cannot express the relief I had while traveling with Vanessa as my house/pet sitter. I have 2 cats and was babysitting my daughters cat, who arrived the day I left. Vanessa sent pics everyday of the cats snuggled with her or chilling in their fav spots! My trip was very unexpected, and it was my first time using Rover. I’ve always wary booked Vanessa again for a trip I had planned and was going to take my cat to my daughters, but it was so much more relaxing for them here in their home❤️”

“Repeat customer here, Helene is reliable, great with our animals and a delight to work with. I know our pets are in good hands when she sits for us. Thank you, Helene!!”

About: Hi, I’m Steph! I’m a full time nurse with a passion for animals and I’d love to help care for your fur babies! I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, we recently lost our 15 year old kitty but our home is still full of chaos and love with 3 dogs and 3 birds 🥰 I’m currently transitioning from working in the hospital full time to working from home so I’ll have a lot more flexibility in my schedule to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’ll care for your pets like they are my own! Any needs or directions I will follow perfectly to make sure your pet is as comfortable with me as possible.
“Charlie house sat for us for a week. He took amazing care of our cat and dog. Charlie was very professional and an excellent communicator. When we got home, the pets were happy and the house was immaculate. I highly recommend Charlie for pet sitting. We'll be using his services again!”

“Jason did a great job taking care of our two greyhounds. One of them had an unexpected GI illness and he cooked them rice and cleaned up their accidents. We felt very comfortable knowing they were well cared for.”

About: I have dogs of my own that I take on daily walks. I have two husky’s (11 and 6 yrs) and a pitbull I had for 13.5 yrs (she crossed the rainbow bridge). I enjoy going out for walks because I know it’s a dogs favorite time of the day. I’ve taken my friends and family’s dogs on walks while they’ve been out of town. I’m looking to walk dogs in the evening when I go for my afternoon walks around the neighborhood. There are times where I may have availability during the day as well. I’m flexible and will do my best to fit you into my schedule. I love dogs and I treat all dog as if they are my own. I’ll make sure to make them feel comfortable with me and give them the attention they need.
“She was so nice and took great care of my dog. My dog sometimes is timid among strangers but Heidy made the experience much better and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. 🌸🌸 10/10 recommend.”

“Deuce took a liking to Julia right away! Julia was super easy to work with. She communicates well, highly accredited, great with animals, and an easy-going person. Highly recommend hiring her to watch your dog. Will definitely circle back to her whenever Deuce needs someone again!”

“Bridget was fantastic! Prompt responses and arrival, very reliable with pix and it was clear our dog just loved her! Would be delighted to have her in our home again.”

About: Neighbors, family and friends trusted and relied on me to walk, bathe, feed, and play with their fur babies and can count on me to love their pets🐾 I currently have a wide availability during the week and weekends (select Sundays available upon request) for Mondays-Saturdays for the morning hours (7am-11am), afternoons (12 pm-4:30pm) and evening hours (4:30pm-9pm). I have a clean and quiet home and open space for play and big couch for cuddles and dog tv watching. My house has three levels for any fur baby to sit on the landing spot of the stairs
“Jenn stayed at my house with my two older dogs for one week, and they were pampered and coddled the whole time. She sent lots of photos throughout and was a champ dealing with their various idiosyncrasies. She was a consistent communicator and sent lots of great pix. Even a snowfall didn’t phase her. And the house was as neat and clean as when I left. She is my go-to for home stays!”

“I contacted Concetta REALLY last minute- I mean the day I needed a dog sitter, and she responded immediately and she was able to do it. She communicated really well with me while she stayed the night with my dogs and she was with them for longer than any other sitters stayed with them, usually my sitters left first thing when they woke up but Concetta hung out with them for a bit! She’ll be my new go to sitter!”

“Malek did a great job letting Gimli adjust to a new human at his own pace. He asked for guidance when needed, to help Gimli build trust in him. Gimli greeted him happily when he returned to pick up his things, so I know Gimli feels comfortable. As the owner of a sensitive, intelligent and active dog this was just what I was looking for. Thank you, Malek!”

About: I have been the caretaker for 2 dogs and have 4 years of experience caring for cats. One of the dogs I was caretaker for had special mobility needs. I am big on playtime with dogs and cats, but I especially love playing fetch with a frisbee for dogs. I have a flexible schedule that will allow me to care for your animals. I look forward to spending quality time with your pets! I work part-time in the evenings, which gives me the flexibility to offer comrpehensive day time care. I am a morning person who likes to get an early start with my day. I have the utmost respect for my clients' pets and their homes. I would treat both like they were my own. I value clear communication around expectations for the home, as that will allow me to provide a higher quality of care.
“Giovanna was great with my very anxious dog (and his anxious owner). My dog can be difficult and doesn't trust people he doesn't know. Giovanna followed all instructions with patience and care. She was communicative, respectful, and responsible. I came home to a clean house and a happy dog, which is all one could ask for!”

“As always Rachel did an outstanding job caring for Dexter and Linus while I was away. She provided plenty of photos and videos and not wants to die worry about the safety of my pets. I absolutely will continue using Rachel in the future.”

Wheaton-Glenmont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Helena is incredible! Asked a lot of questions to get to know the cuties beforehand, and gave detailed updates during her time with them. She was very intentional, diligent and responsive. I was able to travel without any worries knowing my cuties were in good hands!!

Rachel is, indeed, very energetic & outgoing. I was delighted to see how friendly my dog felt towards her after our trip was over. He (& I) will definitely request her again for another trip. My cats are not as easily won over but she managed to help them feel better thru their huge separation anxiety & they were doing well when we returned home. Rachel was terrific about communicating with me thru out & sending photos.

Xena was great! We just moved into town and she made it so easy and stress free to know our fur kiddo was well taken care of when going out of town. She was forgiving of the chaos of our house due to the unpacking and was able to support Levi as a senior. Will be booking again when we need a dog sitter!

Camille is great! She communicates regularly, sends the cutest pictures, spent a lot of time playing with our doggy and (shy) kitty, and took great care of our house while we were away. It’s the best knowing our pets are in such capable hands. Thank you, Camille!

Zaena was a fantastic house sitter for my dog Maisy. It was Maisy’s first time with a house sitter and Zaena was great about Maisy’s medications, schedule, and behavioral quirks. She was very communicative and sent updates and pictures/videos daily. I look forward to having Zaena watch Maisy again.

Lena did an awesome job. She was able to stay in our house with our dog for two nights on short notice and she left the place exactly how she found it (if not cleaner). She probably took better care of our dog than we do with much more frequent walks. We’d definitely use her again!
