I work full-time, but I have a pretty consistent schedule, which makes it easy for me to plan pet care around my work hours. I’m mainly available in the evenings, on weekends, and during the times I list on my calendar. I really enjoy caring for animals, so Rover is something I do because I love spending time with pets and helping their owners feel comfortable while they’re away.

My goal is to make the transition as easy as possible and keep their pet safe, comfortable, and happy.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy with activities that match their personality and energy level. We can go for walks, play with their favorite toys, have some indoor playtime, practice simple commands, or just spend time relaxing and getting some extra attention and cuddles. I also enjoy letting pets explore and sniff during walks rather than rushing them. Most importantly, I’ll follow what they enjoy and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re with me.

Vanessa is experienced and highly reliable. My dog and cat were clearly given excellent care. I don’t believe they could get better care elsewhere. I definitely want her loving and nurturing care for my pets again.
Vanessa did a fantastic job taking care of our corgi. She followed all of our instructions closely and went above and beyond to make sure our dog was safe, healthy and very happy. Our pup immediately felt comfortable with Vanessa and she also took good care of our house. We fully recommend her as a dog and house sitter.
