I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. I follow their feeding, walking, medication, and bathroom schedules as closely as possible and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. In a pet parent’s home, I’m respectful of their space and keep everything clean and tidy. I also make sure pets feel comfortable and safe, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing while they’re away.

Vanessa is experienced and highly reliable. My dog and cat were clearly given excellent care. I don’t believe they could get better care elsewhere. I definitely want her loving and nurturing care for my pets again.
Vanessa did a fantastic job taking care of our corgi. She followed all of our instructions closely and went above and beyond to make sure our dog was safe, healthy and very happy. Our pup immediately felt comfortable with Vanessa and she also took good care of our house. We fully recommend her as a dog and house sitter.

I simply cannot express the relief I had while traveling with Vanessa as my house/pet sitter. I have 2 cats and was babysitting my daughters cat, who arrived the day I left. Vanessa sent pics everyday of the cats snuggled with her or chilling in their fav spots! My trip was very unexpected, and it was my first time using Rover. I’ve always wary booked Vanessa again for a trip I had planned and was going to take my cat to my daughters, but it was so much more relaxing for them here in their home❤️

Schedule
I work full-time, but I have a pretty consistent schedule, which makes it easy for me to plan pet care around my work hours. I’m mainly available in the evenings, on weekends, and during the times I list on my calendar. I really enjoy caring for animals, so Rover is something I do because I love spending time with pets and helping their owners feel comfortable while they’re away.

- I’d love to know about their pet’s daily routine, personality, and any specific needs before the visit. It’s helpful to know their feeding and walking schedule, favorite activities or toys, how they interact with other people and animals, and anything that may make them nervous or uncomfortable. I’d also want to know about any medications, allergies, special instructions, and emergency contacts. My goal is to make the transition as easy as possible and keep their pet safe, comfortable, and happy.
