Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

About: I grew up around many animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and ducks during my lifetime. I don’t train puppies, but will care for them. I can care for senior dogs. I can orally administer medications, but have never injected medication, but will if shown how. I am available 24 hours per day, and also on all holidays. I am around pretty much all the time. Your pet will be supervised at all times. I have 3 years of dog sitting experience in my own household, I make sure everyone is properly separated when eating to prevent empty stomachs or incidents, I promote 100% safe play and socializing. I have a dog crates, and can keep dogs separate if need be.

About: I've taken care of my 4-year-old dog ever since he was a puppy, and before that, I've had parrots, hamsters, lizards, and other pets! I also take care of my family's pets. Your dog will be well cared for by me and my partner and have a playmate, Channing, a friendly and mellow rescue dog. As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We live in a walkable neighborhood with many tree-lined walking paths, bushes, parks and other friendly dogs and people. 📸 📱Daily Pictures and Updates We are very communicative and make sure owners get at least 3 updates with pictures and/or videos each day. 🦮 🐾 Walks Your dog will enjoy at least three 15-20 minute walks (usually at a casual pace and sniffing around the neighborhood) and ALWAYS leashed on our walks, usually using my own durable leash (the same rope material that rock climbers use). Their safety is my highest priority. 🧍🏽🐕 Meet and Greets Highly recommended for first-time guests. This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. The meeting place is at a small park/playground in our neighborhood. 🗓️ 🚘 Drop Off and Pick Up Times *Weekdays: flexible, I’ll just need to know in advance to plan my schedule. *Weekends: Flexibility between 8am-7pm with advance notice. I work from home most of the week and am home most weekends, so your dog won’t be home alone too long but s/he should be comfortable to stay at home with Channing for a few hours. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.

About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.

About: You name it, I probably have lovingly done it. From medical care, giving shots, playing, training, elder pet care, cleaning ears, wiping paws, giving baths, walking and playing with super high energy pets, etc., I can handle it. I specialize in anxious dogs. I get that there is a formula for making them feel safe and I can follow it to a T, plus I have a lot of tools and tricks. I also specialize in elder care of pets. Beyond medical needs which I am comfortable doing, I also have tons of ways of engaging elders pets that can no longer play nor walk like they used. I am loving, lead with empathy, and NEVER strike nor yell at a pet. That should go without saying, but I like to be very clear. I can assert leadership for pets that need it. I can handle any size pet and I get that each pet has their own needs, so don't worry if your dog has a long list of things they cannot do or a list of needs. I get it! I am currently working part time from home and my breaks and hours are flexible, so I am always available. Very occasionally I work outside the home for no more than 5 hours at a time. I care for pets in my home and at their home as well. I have a big back yard that is fenced in on all sides. I go outside with the pets most of the time and engage and play with them. I don't just let them out. There are 2 people parks near my home (one well shaded and great for hot summer days) that are great for walking to. I find dogs like to people watching too. I think giving pups time to sniffy snoop around is important. I even have a backpack with a mesh screen "window" for a cat as some cats love walks. In your home, I follow their routine to give them a sense of security, play, train, and introduce new toys and tricks if your pup is up for that. With cats I can read their cute little faces pretty well and give them what they want: play, pets, scratches, and/or, for example, introduce them to new smells to engage their minds.

About: I’ve helped walk and play with dogs at a local dog shelter and also watch my friend’s dogs, including walking and sitting two dogs at a time. I work remote, Tuesday to Friday, and my job isn’t very busy so I have plenty of time on my hands to walk dogs anytime time during the weekdays. Weekends are also flexible too. When I care for dogs in my friend’s homes, they have fenced in backyards for them to run around in but I also walk them in the neighborhood and on trails.
