“Gabby is a kind, reliable sitter who went above and beyond for my anxious pup. She went out of her way to help make sure my dog was comfortable with her before petsitting. She was in touch the entire time I was away and sent many photos. I would absolutely hire Gabby again.”

“Katiana was awesome with my 2 pups! She arrived on time and sent many photos and updates throughout the day. My pups absolutely loved all the attention and trips to the dog park! Thank you so much for taking such great care of them!!”

“Helene has always been so great for my two pups! They are so comfortable around her and it takes a huge stress off my shoulders knowing I can travel without worrying how my two dogs are doing. Highly recommend!”

“Bridget was fantastic! Prompt responses and arrival, very reliable with pix and it was clear our dog just loved her! Would be delighted to have her in our home again.”

“I simply cannot express the relief I had while traveling with Vanessa as my house/pet sitter. I have 2 cats and was babysitting my daughters cat, who arrived the day I left. Vanessa sent pics everyday of the cats snuggled with her or chilling in their fav spots! My trip was very unexpected, and it was my first time using Rover. I’ve always wary booked Vanessa again for a trip I had planned and was going to take my cat to my daughters, but it was so much more relaxing for them here in their home❤️”

About: Hi! I'm Kimberly, a lifelong animal lover with experience in caring for dogs, cats, and small mammals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, domestic rats, and hamsters. Whether you're heading out for a weekend or an extended vacation, I offer personalized, attentive care to keep your pets safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm trustworthy, detail-oriented, and flexible to your pet's needs - from energetic pups to mellow seniors. I treat every animal as if they were my own and aim to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I volunteer with the Humane Rescue Alliance, Brandywine Valley SPCA in DC, Friends of Rabbits, and Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center. I've received training in dog walking, cat socialization and care, small mammals training and care, and received a certificate of completion for Fear Free Shelters with a focus on cat and dog behaviors and strategies to reduce stress. Also, I received bottle baby feeding and kitten care training through National Kitten College. I am available Tuesday-Thursday and Sundays for dog walking, some occasional house sitting, and drop-in visits for cats, dogs, and exotic pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters. I will care for your pet(s) through dog walking, drop-in visits, and some occasional house-sitting services. I'll make sure to keep your fur baby safe in your home or while taking walks in the neighborhood.
“Jennifer has taken care of Pepper twice now—and everything went well. She updates us and sends pics. Our home was spotless when we returned and Pepper was happy. I recommend her without reservation.”

“Concetta was responsive, kind, and - most important - took wonderful care of our dog. We'd never used Rover before or had a house sitter, but I would definitely outreach to her again the next time we hit the road. She was a wonderful house guest and sent us multiple of pictures of our dog resting happily with her at the house, which is always a reassuring thing. Highly recommended!”

“Jonathan stayed with our dog Cookie for a week while we were away, and sent photos or videos daily. Looks like he spoiled her with affection along with walks, so that made being away much easier.”

About: I provide dog walking, boarding, and sitter services during weekdays and/or weekends. I live in an apartment with a large unfenced front yard. However my neighborhood has 3-4 nearby, closed off dog parks nearby that I can take the pups to for socializing. I also have an 8 year old lab mix dog, we go on long walks 2-3 times a day (~30 minutes to 1-2 hours). Will play with dogs constantly to get out all of their energy. Preferably dogs that are crate trained. Will adapt to whatever kind of personality your pet has - accepting of all. Because I have a dog of my own, I am very keen on animal behavior - specifically, dog behavior - when walking dogs, I know when they will lunge at a car/dog/cat/squirrel before they lunge, I know when they are about to poop, I can tell when a dog is overexerted and tired, I can tell when a dog is feeling aggressive - all before they perform these actions. My fair share of dog parks has made it very easy for me to discern dog behavior. I will use these skills to best serve your furbaby. Im currently in a remote PhD program, so I have flexibility throughout the weekdays and weekends. Available for dog sitting, walking and boarding anytime on weekends and weekdays. I have an unfenced yard out front of my apartment and 2-3 dog parks in my neighborhood. I also have an 8-year old dog that is friendly with other dogs to keep yours company.
“Shamiso watched our somewhat anxious pandemic pup for 4 days at the last minute. She was fantastic. Before the booking, she was communicative. During our pre/booking chat, she asked thoughtful questions. And she took great care of our pup while we were gone. I loved her updates of what they were up to, and she left the house as clean as (or probably cleaner) than we left it. Thank you Shamiso!”

“Karachi did a great job taking care of our dog, Charlie. She was very communicative, accommodated our schedule, and was diligent in giving Charlie his medicine. Charlie really liked her!”

“100% will book again and highly recommend Steven! Steven watched over my 16 year old cat with few health issues that required extra attention. On top of that, we recently lost another cat (her companion for 15 years) and she has been lonely and high stress. We were having second thoughts about leaving on vacation. Steven did an incredible job communicating during the entire trip. He provided daily summary of how she was doing, her appetite, her energy, meds etc. He honestly made our vacation 100% more relaxing and worry free. When we came back our cat was very chill and relaxed, a great sign that she had great company and that she loved Steven. I plan to become a repeat customer and 100% recommend him. Your pet will certainly be in great hands with Steven”

“My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the care Charlotte provided for our dog Teddy. From the moment we got home, we could tell how happy and well cared for he was. It really gave us peace of mind during our trip. Charlotte was punctual, attentive, and followed all of our instructions. We also really appreciated that she took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure we were a good fit. That meant a lot to us. During that conversation she learned about our travel destination and since she was familiar with the area, she went above and beyond by sharing helpful tips and a great list of places for us to check out. While we were away she sent us photos here and there, which made us feel even more comfortable knowing Teddy was in good hands. We truly feel like we didn’t just find a pet sitter, we made a new friend. Thank you Charlotte for taking such great care of Teddy. We would absolutely recommend her to family and friends.”

“Giovanna was a wonderful sitter and I would trust her to stay again any time. She handled a very chaotic weekend and I was never once worried + I came back to a spotless house. I’ll be sure to book with her should I need someone in the future.”

“June stayed with Kelly for 2 nights. Kelly sent lots of updates and pictures. She took great care of June, even when June was being a bit of a handful! We would book with Kelly again.”

Nichole was absolutely incredible taking care of our fur babies. She went above and beyond - offering to restock food and groceries, doing laundry, etc. in our home while we were away. In regard to the pups, I got numerous videos and photos every day of them playing, snuggling, and enjoying their time. She made sure they were active, comfortable, safe and loved. We will 100% be using Nichole again. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a house/dog sitter.

Belinda was an amazing sitter for our Ralphie! I knew from her initial responsiveness and kindness and her superlative reviews on Rover that Ralphie would be in great hands. Belinda really does check all the boxes. She is a wonderful communicator, sharing updates at a perfect frequency. I appreciated all the photos and videos capturing great interactions between her and Ralphie. In addition, Belinda left the house spotless, laundered the towels that she used, and washed Ralph's plates before leaving. It was an easy, pleasant, and stress-free experience that I hope to be able to repeat in the near future. Thank you sincerely, Bel!
