About: I have been an animal lover since the beginning of time! I have always loved and respected animals and nature. It’s always been a culture in our home growing up. As an adult, I had a couple corporate jobs, but there was always something missing. I found myself being my happiest self whenever I was with my pets or taking care of other animals. Thankfully during Covid I was laid off, and left to find my REAL passion in life. I decided I wanted to work with animals full time, and so I did! I have never been happier! Working with animals has been my favorite job and I will never want to not work with pets. I have experience working with dozens of different breeds, & ages of cats and dogs. I am knowledgeable in pet safety and dog cpr. I have thousands of hours of training experience working with different pets before I became a full time pet nanny! This is not just a “job” for me, this is my passion, I enjoy being with pets and animals, I enjoy being a pet caretaker. Our furr baby Blake passed away in October of 2025, he was the goodest boy and forever will be cherished in our hearts. We live next to a long trail perfect for peaceful walks. We love outdoor activities and now with the warmer weather your pup will get plenty of exercise. I will maintain any schedule you have and make sure your pup gets extra loving during their stay. Our home can accommodate for those with extra energy or older dogs who want to sleep in and cuddle all day. My husband works from home and would love the company of "mans best friend". We are off on weekends and have plenty of trails to explore. Your furr babies can expect a minimum of 3 walks per day, cuddles, food time on schedule, treats, and lots of toys and play time.

Your dog will be well cared for by me and my partner and have a playmate, Channing, a friendly and mellow rescue dog. As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Kelly provided daycare for our Boxer, Solar, and we couldn’t be happier. She sent pictures and he seemed right at home. He was super tired at the end of the day, which was great. We as Valerie's owners added a complicated wrinkle -- I am traveling and have the Rover.com account, and my daughters were on the ground doing the drop off and pick up. Ana did not blink an eye over our logisitcal wrinkle. She was so easy to work with.
