“Cal and Kelly are great! They sent tons of updates during the day and my pup had a blast! She came home all tired out and we will definitely be going back 😁”

About: I am an avid dog lover. I take care of dogs in my neighborhood - from Chihuahua size to 100 pounds or more. We enjoy long walks and meeting new pup friends! I even include baths if necessary. For some reason, my account won’t let me remove House Sitting - I have a dog of my own. Unless our dogs are introduced and get along, I cannot do overnights. However, I can do multiple let outs - including late at night and early in the morning. Cats are also lovely creatures and although they may not need walking, they get their share of love, too! All pets welcome with me! I have reliable transportation. I’m 31 years old with a college degree and a full time job. I don’t smoke and can walk more than one dog at a time. I can promise that your animals and I will get along great! Please contact me if you have any further questions! I am always available. Thank you! I work full time in the southern Maryland area, however I have break times and morning/evening availability! I’m not opposed to travel and multiple let outs. I can care for your pets at your home or mine! I do not have a fenced backyard, but I do multiple walks every single day.

“We as Valerie's owners added a complicated wrinkle -- I am traveling and have the Rover.com account, and my daughters were on the ground doing the drop off and pick up. Ana did not blink an eye over our logisitcal wrinkle. She was so easy to work with. My daughter said Ana was extremely welcoming and clearly a dog person, so Valerie was so excited to be at her place. We would definitely book with Ana again.”

“I'm really grateful that I found Jeremy through Rover so my son and I could go visit Timpanogos cave! Her puppy and my puppy got to play and mine was tired after, which was nice too.”

“I couldn’t be happier with Adi & Pat’s care for Louie! They communicate well and clearly, they asked good questions to make sure they’d cover all the bases for Louie’s care, and provided regular updates and photos, which were greatly appreciated. About: 🐶 Dog Care Looking for a relaxing and stress-free home for your furbaby while you're away? Your dog will be well cared for by me and my partner and have a playmate, Channing, a friendly and mellow rescue dog. As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We live in a walkable neighborhood with many tree-lined walking paths, bushes, parks and other friendly dogs and people. 📸 📱Daily Pictures and Updates We are very communicative and make sure owners get at least 3 updates with pictures and/or videos each day. 🦮 🐾 Walks Your dog will enjoy at least three 15-20 minute walks (usually at a casual pace and sniffing around the neighborhood) and ALWAYS leashed on our walks, usually using my own durable leash (the same rope material that rock climbers use). Their safety is my highest priority. 🧍🏽🐕 Meet and Greets Highly recommended for first-time guests. This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. The meeting place is at a small park/playground in our neighborhood. 🗓️ 🚘 Drop Off and Pick Up Times *Weekdays: flexible, I’ll just need to know in advance to plan my schedule. *Weekends: Flexibility between 8am-7pm with advance notice. I work from home most of the week and am home most weekends, so your dog won’t be home alone too long but s/he should be comfortable to stay at home with Channing for a few hours. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.

Pallavi and Alex have been a gift sent from heaven. My baby Luna was welcomed with open arms and i see nothing but smiles from her anytime she spends time with them. I really appreciate their services and am glad Luna gets to spend her days with them and their family. I would recommend them to anyone and may God continue to bless all that they do for busy moms/dads like me. Keep bringing joy to our fury friends and companions.

I can’t say enough great things about Stephen. I’m so so happy to have found him & knew from the meet & greet that my sweet boy would absolutely feel at home there & he sure did! I didn’t worry about him at all during his daycare day. I look forward to having him regularly come when needed!

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
