About: With 3 years of hands-on experience providing dedicated care for a variety of pets, I have developed a strong skill set in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of animals. My experience includes: Feeding & Dietary Management: Ensuring pets receive appropriate meals, tailored to their specific dietary needs, including managing feeding schedules and administering special diets or medications. Exercise & Enrichment: Organizing daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation activities for dogs, and providing enrichment activities to keep pets engaged and happy. This includes interactive toys, puzzle feeders, and grooming sessions. Health Monitoring: Observing pets for signs of illness or discomfort and alerting pet owners or veterinarians when necessary. Assisting with administering medications and managing post-surgery care. Safety & Cleanliness: Ensuring that pet environments are safe, clean, and secure. This includes maintaining pet areas, cleaning litter boxes, and managing pet-proofing in the home or the park Communication: Building trusting relationships with pet owners by providing regular updates on their pets' health and well-being, and addressing any concerns they may have. Multi-pet Care: Managing the care of multiple pets at once, ensuring each animal's individual needs are met while maintaining harmony in a multi-pet household. I'm currently not working, I'm home all week, pet care fits perfect into my schedule. feeding walks and clean up are no problem for me The way I care for pets can vary depending on the service provided, whether it’s for my own pets or a client’s pets. Here’s how I typically approach pet care in different situations: Feeding & Hydration: I follow the client's specific instructions for feeding, whether it’s a regular schedule or special dietary needs. I make sure fresh water is always available. Exercise & Walks: I make sure the pets get their regular walks or playtime sessions. For dogs, I’ll take them on walks, runs, or play sessions at the park . For cats, I may engage them with interactive toys or give them time to roam and explore in a safe space.

“Eden was so attentive and caring with our beagle. In his stay, she took him to play in the park, was very accommodating in his feeding routine, and made sure he was always comfy and happy. I can’t wait for Smokey and Rori to play again”

“Jeramy is amazing! She is so patient and loving with our girl and her dog Henry is so sweet. What a relief to have someone who is kind and dependable to watch our dog. Highly recommend!!!”

“We as Valerie's owners added a complicated wrinkle -- I am traveling and have the Rover.com account, and my daughters were on the ground doing the drop off and pick up. Ana did not blink an eye over our logisitcal wrinkle. She was so easy to work with. My daughter said Ana was extremely welcoming and clearly a dog person, so Valerie was so excited to be at her place. We would definitely book with Ana again.”

“Natalia was a wonderful daycare mom for our pup. She made my pup feel safe and took him on great walks! She was also very accommodating of my schedule. I highly recommend her. We will definitely return to her in the future.”

“I couldn’t be happier with Adi & Pat’s care for Louie! They communicate well and clearly, they asked good questions to make sure they’d cover all the bases for Louie’s care, and provided regular updates and photos, which were greatly appreciated. Louie came home happy and relaxed after his stay and knowing he had a comfortable time is great peace of mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking for local sitters and I will certainly be rebooking for any future stays!”

Someone will always be there to take care of your furry or scaly family and will never be left without someone even for a second. They will be welcomed with love, play, and kindness in my home. We will ensure nothing is around that will harm the animal whether it is cables, shoes, food, etc. we will always be around to ensure your pet is taken care of and in good health.
“Andrea was absolutely wonderful. She took excellent care of my energetic puppy- even trimming her nails and introducing her to new toys. She was also very helpful and knowledgeable about puppy training!”

About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.
About: I’ve been doing Rover since November 2020, it brings me joy whenever I get the chance to meet other pups and host them while you’re away. I understand the importance of having someone trustworthy to care for your furry friend while you are away. I am more than happy to do video calls or meet and greets for your peace of mind 🙂 NA My mom and I the only ones at home. Pups will always have eyes on them and the most they will stay alone is 4 hours per day until one of us gets home from work unless one of us is off that day. Recently completed some yard work. Safer for pups whenever they’re outside playing! Happy to show you when scheduling a meet and greet. 🐾 🐾 🐾
About: 🐶 Dog Care Looking for a relaxing and stress-free home for your furbaby while you're away? Your dog will be well cared for by me and my partner and have a playmate, Channing, a friendly and mellow rescue dog. As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We live in a walkable neighborhood with many tree-lined walking paths, bushes, parks and other friendly dogs and people. 📸 📱Daily Pictures and Updates We are very communicative and make sure owners get at least 3 updates with pictures and/or videos each day. 🦮 🐾 Walks Your dog will enjoy at least three 15-20 minute walks (usually at a casual pace and sniffing around the neighborhood) and ALWAYS leashed on our walks, usually using my own durable leash (the same rope material that rock climbers use). Their safety is my highest priority. 🧍🏽🐕 Meet and Greets Highly recommended for first-time guests. This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. The meeting place is at a small park/playground in our neighborhood. 🗓️ 🚘 Drop Off and Pick Up Times *Weekdays: flexible, I’ll just need to know in advance to plan my schedule. *Weekends: Flexibility between 8am-7pm with advance notice. I work from home most of the week and am home most weekends, so your dog won’t be home alone too long but s/he should be comfortable to stay at home with Channing for a few hours. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.

About: I've had lots of pets over the years and my life has been made a lot richer for having animals in it. I am very comfortable with the care of dogs, cats, birds and tortoises as these are the pets that I've had the most. I am comfy with the care of puppies and have spent a long time volunteering with rescues. Dogs and cats that have special quirks or need additional care are welcome with me. I'm here to offer a loving and caring environment for all animals regardless of their issues or needs. I work from home and I'm really flexible so I can offer a lot of attention and focus to your pet's needs. Just let me know how I can help! I live in an apartment but there are green spaces on either side of the building where your dog can be taken out to relieve itself.
“Yosef is a great choice! My dog Francis loves going to visit him and the pack. Francis always comes home confident and relaxed, and I get to breathe and chill when i get home knowing he had a fun filled day.”

Pallavi and Alex have been a gift sent from heaven. My baby Luna was welcomed with open arms and i see nothing but smiles from her anytime she spends time with them. I really appreciate their services and am glad Luna gets to spend her days with them and their family. I would recommend them to anyone and may God continue to bless all that they do for busy moms/dads like me. Keep bringing joy to our fury friends and companions.

I can’t say enough great things about Stephen. I’m so so happy to have found him & knew from the meet & greet that my sweet boy would absolutely feel at home there & he sure did! I didn’t worry about him at all during his daycare day. I look forward to having him regularly come when needed!

Noor was excellent! She accommodated us on super short notice when we were scrambling to find a sitter for our dog. Meeko (aforementioned dog) enjoyed herself very much and we received plenty of updates with pictures. So happy that we made this connection! Would absolutely work with Noor again.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
