Well loved fenced yard
Having to leave your fur-baby in the care of others can be stressful and full of anxiety, not just for you but for your fur-child, as well. That is why my family is here to ease your worry of leaving your fur-babe behind. We offer a safe environment both inside and out, that is filled with love and comfort. I grew up with pets (dogs, cats, rabbits and goats) and upon creating my own family, adopted my fur-baby, Ernest, who has now been with us for nearly 4 years. We are a family who enjoys being outside, so when we are not playing in our own yard with our 2 & 4-legged friends (yes, we have play dates for all household members), we go for walks in the neighborhood, out in nature and even at off-leash doggie parks. Whether your loved-one enjoys being outside enjoying the fresh air, or just hanging out inside with the family, we are the home to choose. We will treat your fur-babe as if s/he belongs with us.

Danielle has watched Oakley so many times now and is our go to sitter (and one of Oakley's favorite people)! Every time we pick up Oakley he comes back tired from all the fun he had with Danielle and her family. Danielle always provides pictures and updates on all the adventures Oakley and Ernie have while he is with him. Danielle will remain our go to person and we cannot recommend her enough
This was the longest stay Oakley has had with Danielle yet. He had an absolute great time and came back so happy! I will always be booking with Danielle as priority! She is truly one of the best and we will continue to book with her!!
Oakley has now stayed with Danielle several times and each time he's had an absolute blast! Danielle was amazing (as always) and constantly kept us up to date on Oakley's adventures! Danielle's home has quickly become a second home for Oakley and she is one of his favorite people! We will continue to have him stay with Danielle whenever possible!
Danielle and her family (and Ernie) were so welcoming to our dog Ginger and made her feel at home. We got updates and photos, and Danielle was open about behaviors we hadn’t seen before. The yard offered a ton of room to run and Ernie was a great playmate. So glad to have found Danielle’s profile on Rover!
Chloe (a miniature poodle) loves to visit Danielle, her two children and her dog, Ernie. She has a special bond with Danielle’s daughter and waits - with great devotion - for her to come home from school. When Chloe doesn’t have a good appetite, Danielle has lots of tricks up her sleeve to induce Chloe to eat. It is so wonderful that Danielle has a fenced in yard, because Chloe can wander and play outdoors with Ernie.
June stayed with Danielle and her family for 4 nights. Danielle took great care of June!

A typical day
If we choose to venture outside of the neighborhood side walks, there is a nature trail in our back yard, as well we like to frequent Congressional Cemetery in DC which allows for off-leash doggie play.
