Disclaimer: Zac is my sibling, so while I am not unbiased, I am also writing with decades of knowing Zac and seeing his love, patience, and kindness for all creatures, feathered, furry, scaly alike. Zac is one of the sweetest people on this planet, and he exudes a calming energy that affects every person and animal around him. He doesn't scare easily, is incredibly patient and takes very genuine delight in the animals around him; all great qualities in a caretaker. His cat entered his life as a feisty feral kitten afraid of all people, but you wouldn't know it to see her and Zac together as she spends as much of her life as possible cuddling with him and playing. Our family dog lived the last quarter of his life alone with Zac, and Zac handled his aging and increasingly intense health problems with grace. Zac has been the trusty go-to pet sitter for our family and friends for many years, and I know he will be a wonderful, responsible caretaker to the pets of the Rover community.

Zachariah has always had a way with animals. Because he is also kind, conscientious and patient, he has cared for a number of animals no one else would handle. He assiduously cared for a geriatric shih-tzu who could no longer chew or walk until the poor little guy, at 18, was in too much pain to keep going. He adopted a feral kitten that mistrusted everyone and everything and has been her only love for the six years since. He took in a snake whose owner grew tired of it, and has been primary caretaker of a gecko and a cockatiel. He was adopted by a ferret belonging to his college roommate. My own dog is absolutely ecstatic whenever he sees him, as are several other dogs we both know. He is loving towards dogs large or small, as well as cats aloof or affectionate. I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Zach was extremely responsible and took really good care of our puppy. Our puppy immediately took a liking towards him, as he just exudes a caring, loving persona. He was professional and responsive and always kept us updated with cute pictures of our baby while we were away.

Zac is amazing with my hound dog Hazel. She is so excited when she sees him! Zac is very thoughtful and conscientious. I trust my dog Hazel with Zac for walks and sitting and drop in visits, including feeding her and providing meds. Highly recommend!
