Hi y'all, my name is Jordan! I've been working in pet care in DC metro area going on four years now. I’m always open to new clients, and ALWAYS happy to make a new furry friend! I went to school in Austin, TX (hook ‘em), where I became an animal rights advocate and Austin Pets Alive! volunteer. I have about twelve years paid experience caring for dogs and cats— boarding, walking, and some training— and have been a working full-time in pet care since I moved to the DMV. I was a dog-mom to my late rescue, Peanut, for seven wonderful years. 💜 I live with my very sweet, VERY talkative cat named Eugene. 🐱 If you book with me, you can expect a lot of hands-on care for your pets. I love taking dogs outside for walk or runs, and trips to the dog park for playtime! Of course, if your pet is used to a more laid-back lifestyle, I'm happy to provide a comfy couch and some belly rubs. Whether you're looking for a safe place to keep your pets while you're away, a consistent walker to keep them exercised, or just someone to check in on them every once in a while, I'd be glad to lend a hand!

We had a great experience with Jordan! Jordan clearly took care to get to know each of our three cats and to make sure their different needs were taken care of. We really appreciated the great communication and the detailed updates and photos we got.
Jordan is fantastic! Highly communicative and attentive to Chaco. We greatly appreciated the video and photo updates, Chaco looked so happy and relaxed his whole stay. Chaco can’t wait to hang out either Jordan again.
As always, my dog had a great time with Jordan! He gets so much love and attention and comes home very calm and happy. I appreciate the updates while I'm away and the fact that I never have to worry about Wally when he is with Jordan. They are a true gem!

Zeitplan
I am a full time dog walker and pet-care worker with a very flexible schedule. Most of my midday walks are around the H St./Eastern Market area, but I’m happy to take clients further afield (and closer to home in Takoma).

I am EXTREMELY safety conscious when dealing with pets. When boarding, I take my time introducing them to my home, my cat, and any other Rover guests they will be staying with. For dogs, leashes stay on until everyone feels comfortable and safe. And for cats, I’m happy to introduce them slowly— typically at mealtimes on opposite sides of a door or baby gate— if they’re slow to socialize. I know not every pet is a social butterfly, so I also have a crate and a spare room if your dog or cat ever needs their space. You can expect regular, detailed updates from me regarding their stay. Whatever your pet’s needs (or restrictions), I strive to keep them happy, healthy, and on a consistent schedule.

Ein typischer Tag
I like to take my boarders on long walks through Sligo Creek Trail, or on trips to the Takoma Dog Park. If the weather is really nice, we might even venture over to Rock Creek for a hike!
