About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. My responsibilities as a volunteer were canine enrichment activities (including making toys and interactions with dogs), recording behavioral observations, and canine handling onsite and offsite. I also enjoy running, so if your dog is up for that, they are more than welcome to join! I frequent run clubs with dogs because I love being around them and I don't have the finances to take care of my own right now (I am a graduate student). I just graduated from W&M with my Master’s in Science. I am currently job searching so my schedule is very open and flexible. Check my calendar to see when I’m can house/pet sit! At this time, I am only caring for pets in their homes. I am renting my current residence, so I cannot care for pets in my own home.
About: I have had many different dogs over the years and cared for more than one dog at a time, which makes me very comfortable in caring for your fur babies and understanding their many personalities. Also, I believe socialization is very important for all dogs so if you are comfortable, I am able to take them to a dog park (I have one near my home). This will allow them to create new friends and make their experience more enjoyable. Overall, I am trying to avoid getting another pet, so if you let me care for your fur baby I would heavily appreciate it :D As you can tell from my photos I treat all pets like they are a part of my family. Rest assured your baby and I will become best friends. I am a remote worker which allows me more time to care for your babies and a lot of flexibility. I believe this would be a mutually beneficial relationship as I'd be able to enjoy my day playing with dogs, while you won't be worried about taking your dog out. If you ever need to board your dog I am available on the weekends and if you need a house sitter because it would make your fur baby more comfortable I am flexible on those dates as well. I have a multitude of toys, treats, and puzzles to keep them engaged and happy. I also have a dog park which tends to not be busy which allows for running and fetch time in a safe environment.

Christopher was excellent and was able to help with our last minute request. He was punctual, communicative and made sure to walk for agreed upon times. Otis loved his visits and he was careful to watch and ensure a good pace for an older dog. He also made sure to provide plenty of water and good reports of any potty breaks or other notes.
My pup Brandice is sometimes a little hesitant around new people but during the meet and greet with Kayla she ran right up to her for pets. Kayla's experience with reactive dogs put me at ease knowing she would be able to handle some of Brandice's quirks. I appreciated the updates and photos that were sent after each walk. Naomi did a fantastic job taking great care of our three rambunctious dogs while we were away on vacation. Walking them twice daily, sending photos on daily walks, and checking in. It was a relief to see them so happy and well cared for while we were away. Naomi was very kind and gentle with our dogs even though they have a tendency to pull and she kept us updated thru text messages. Since we arrived back home our dogs have been sitting in the window looking for Naomi most especially around the normal times she would arrive. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
