I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”

Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

Besides being a good sitter for our fearful pup, Thomas was also very flexible and responsive. We had booked him so last minute, and we couldn’t get home in time due to the recent snow storm. As anxious as we were about these problems, Thomas was great and alleviated a lot of our stress by accepting and kindly taking care of our pup for even longer than intended. Highly recommend! I needed a later time to pick him up and Elizabeth accommodated me and told me not to rush or worry. Marcel was very happy with his long walks! I want to keep her all to myself. About: 👋 I’ve had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. I’ve owned an Airedale terrier, a pug, a Russian terrier, and my family currently has a Japanese spitz and a toy terrier. I have lots of experience - I have adopted a doggie from a shelter before, and I’ve also raised my two pups from 3 months old until they passed a few months ago at ages 14 and 16. Prior to registering on Rover I’ve boarded dogs - I looked after a friend’s pug for a week, a family friend’s elderly golden retriever, and fostered a stray my sister and I rescued from the street before someone adopted her. I’ve taken road trips with multiple pets, and flown across the country with 3 of my dogs, I’ve taken them to all sorts of vet appointments, and been with them through all stages of their lives. ♥️ I’m on this platform looking for company to heal from losing my furry friends - the pain of it shook me to my core, I loved them so much, they were my family members (you know how it is). Being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I am a performing artist and I travel a lot for concerts, so having my own pet is unfortunately not feasible at the moment, hence I decided that taking care of someone else’s furry babies while I’m home between performances is the second best thing:) You can rest assured that I’ll take great pleasure in looking after them and having them in my home. 🏡 I work from home during the day and I am home from evening until morning, too. I do however step out for errands and appointments. Your dog will be with me most of the time while staying in my home, walked 2-3 times and fed on schedule, but should be comfortable being on its own for 2-3 hours max, if I have things to do. ❗️If your pup has severe separation anxiety and is unable to be alone at all, I can accommodate that with enough notice and for 2x my normal nightly rate. 🐶 I’ve always let my dogs run free around the house and made a safe space for them where they liked, but I did crate my rescue doggie when he first arrived to slowly acclimate him to the new place. Whatever you prefer for your dog is fine by me and I’m happy to accommodate. I don’t have a yard, but I have plenty of green areas nearby where I’d walk your furry pal. I keep my dogs on leash at all times. I steer clear of other dogs by default when I’m walking your dog, so whether they’re leash reactive or not, I err on the side of caution 100% of the time. 🐕 I like training doggies and playing with them to give them some mental stimulation, but if they prefer to chill and not be bothered I’m cool with that as well ❗️I’m not looking to scale this as a business and not looking for a potentially unsafe situation, so I’m always only caring for 1 dog at a time, unless both dogs are from the same owner and are part of the same booking.

They asked questions when they had them and did a good job of keeping me updated with pictures and videos of Otis' stay. The yard for the dogs to run around in is also great! I would absolutely use them again when we go out of town.”
“I highly recommend Angie and her dog-loving family! Our dog has never come home from a week at "camp" happier (or more exhausted). They treated Flynn like one of the family from the moment he arrived. He absolutely loved playing with the kids and the other dogs, and he was very intrigued by the chickens. Flynn got plenty of exercise in their spacious yard, played lots and lots of ball, got plenty of pats and love, and even slept on the bed with the kids. Angie sent plenty of pictures and updates reassuring us that our anxious pup was settling in well. We will be return customers for sure!”

He got along with Athena instantly and it was best friends at first sight. Brittany allowed us to have a meet and greet with Athena and they hit it off from the beginning! We have already booked out long vacation with Brittany and I know Leo is looking forward to spending time with his new friends!”
“I was a little nervous leaving our dog Nessie with a sitter as it was both the first time and for a full two weeks. That nervousness disappeared as soon as Nessie met Fiorela. Fiorela went above and beyond in her care of Nessie. The daily photos and videos showed how happy and comfortable Nessie was throughout her stay in Fiorela’s home. I will definately have Fiorela as Nessie’s sitter in the future. Highly recommended.”
