About: I've been dog walking ever since 2020, starting with my sister's retriever mix, my neighbor's dogs of similar size (85 lbs), and a family friend’s corgi. I'm used to taking care of dogs with a lot of energy! I've been entrusted to take of care my sister's dog on my own for extended periods of time since then, spanning anywhere from a week to over two months. I am available mostly from 10 am - 4 pm on weekdays, barring any special circumstances. On weekends I am less flexible in the afternoons. I have a fenced in yard that is decently spacious with lots of slopes for dogs to run across. It's perfect for a game of fetch or just a case of the zoomies! While I do spend most of the day on my own, I can give enough attention to any dog that needs it because of my flexible schedule.

About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

About: When it comes to dogs, I have all the patience and love in the world. I'm responsible, playful, and a beacon of positive energy. I've dog sat and walked for friends and neighbors in DC. Our dog Naya (mini Aussie) also loves having a nap buddy. I live in an apartment building that is pet friendly, fenced dog run, conveniently located in within 5min from Rock Creek Park. I have flexible hours. I would be happy to accommodate morning and evening walks when needed. Special Skills: I have been told I give amazing belly rubs. When I dropped her off for day care I watched as Hazel sidled over to her and stayed calmly at her side as I departed. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”

About: I have had many different dogs over the years and cared for more than one dog at a time, which makes me very comfortable in caring for your fur babies and understanding their many personalities. Also, I believe socialization is very important for all dogs so if you are comfortable, I am able to take them to a dog park (I have one near my home). This will allow them to create new friends and make their experience more enjoyable. Overall, I am trying to avoid getting another pet, so if you let me care for your fur baby I would heavily appreciate it :D As you can tell from my photos I treat all pets like they are a part of my family. Rest assured your baby and I will become best friends. I am a remote worker which allows me more time to care for your babies and a lot of flexibility. I believe this would be a mutually beneficial relationship as I'd be able to enjoy my day playing with dogs, while you won't be worried about taking your dog out. If you ever need to board your dog I am available on the weekends and if you need a house sitter because it would make your fur baby more comfortable I am flexible on those dates as well. I have a multitude of toys, treats, and puzzles to keep them engaged and happy. I also have a dog park which tends to not be busy which allows for running and fetch time in a safe environment.
