I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

Avigail was super responsive from the beginning and was able to squeeze us into her schedule on a short notice (contacted on Wed. for daycare on Fri.). We did a meet & greet so our dog could meet her and her kids and we met the whole family — everyone was super nice! After meeting them we felt comfortable leaving Mochi with her and her family. Avigail sent us photos throughout the day and I could tell Mochi was having a lot of fun. About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. My responsibilities as a volunteer were canine enrichment activities (including making toys and interactions with dogs), recording behavioral observations, and canine handling onsite and offsite. I also enjoy running, so if your dog is up for that, they are more than welcome to join! I frequent run clubs with dogs because I love being around them and I don't have the finances to take care of my own right now (I am a graduate student). I just graduated from W&M with my Master’s in Science. I am currently job searching so my schedule is very open and flexible. Check my calendar to see when I’m can house/pet sit! About: I have had many different dogs over the years and cared for more than one dog at a time, which makes me very comfortable in caring for your fur babies and understanding their many personalities. Also, I believe socialization is very important for all dogs so if you are comfortable, I am able to take them to a dog park (I have one near my home). This will allow them to create new friends and make their experience more enjoyable. Overall, I am trying to avoid getting another pet, so if you let me care for your fur baby I would heavily appreciate it :D As you can tell from my photos I treat all pets like they are a part of my family. Rest assured your baby and I will become best friends. I am a remote worker which allows me more time to care for your babies and a lot of flexibility. I believe this would be a mutually beneficial relationship as I'd be able to enjoy my day playing with dogs, while you won't be worried about taking your dog out. If you ever need to board your dog I am available on the weekends and if you need a house sitter because it would make your fur baby more comfortable I am flexible on those dates as well. I have a multitude of toys, treats, and puzzles to keep them engaged and happy. I also have a dog park which tends to not be busy which allows for running and fetch time in a safe environment.
