About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I’ve helped care for my family’s dog for the past 11 years, raising him from an energetic puppy to the senior dog he is today. Friends and family members often trust me to watch their pets when they travel, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company. As an outdoor enthusiast, I love taking dogs on walks and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and enrichment they need. When your pet is with me, you can trust that they will be treated with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own! I have a very flexible schedule, so I can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I am able to adjust to you and your pet’s needs and routines! I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision. Safety is always my top priority, whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or stopping by for a visit. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, follow care instructions carefully, and will do my best to ensure they are secure and well cared for at all times, all while having a bit of fun!

About: I’ve had a dog for over 10 years, from a baby to an adult I have experience with it all. I feel like our pets are the babies we didn’t have but always needed! I am available full time, weekdays and weekends! I have a very flexible schedule, feel free to message me if you have any questions and I’ll get back to you with 1-2hrs. I am a very nurturing type of pet mom, I prefer pets that are trained so we can spend more time having fun! It is just me in my home, I do have any pets in my home. I do have wood floors but carpet in my room. I like to go for walks around the neighborhood, play, give treats, but always make time for their naps lol! I am big on scheduling, when it comes to meals, and walks I know some animals have a strict routine and like to follow that.

About: I have significant experience caring for animals, including both dogs and cats. I have previously worked as a pet sitter, where I was responsible for ensuring pets were properly fed, exercised, and well cared for. I also had my own dog for about seven years before he passed away, which gave me long-term, hands-on experience in responsible pet ownership. I genuinely love animals and always make it a priority to ensure that the dogs and cats in my care are healthy, safe, and emotionally supported. I typically have open availability after work on Fridays and throughout the weekends. In addition to my strong caregiving abilities, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet and be present when they want to play or go outside. During the week, I work in the mornings; however, I am available Monday through Friday in the afternoons. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available all day. My older daughter is home during the mornings and will be assisting me with caring for the dogs or cats during that time to ensure they continue receiving attentive and reliable care. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise and play. Whenever they would like to go outside, I will gladly take them for a walk, to a nearby park, or allow them to play in the backyard or front yard under my supervision. They are also welcome to relax and move freely around the house. I will always be attentive to their needs and ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

About: For years, my son had a Rover account and we hosted dogs at our house and walked dogs in the neighborhood, and of course took care of our own dog (Hunter) who is 15 yo now ... Now the kids are grown and launched and I'm ready to get for nice brisk neighborhood walks with folks' dogs (one at a time ;-) I'm a recently retired attorney (55 yo) who loves dogs and loves getting out and about for walks! I generally have mid-day time to get out for a walk or two in the Chevy Chase or Silver Spring area. I am only walking dogs for now (not hosting), but have a nice 15 yo dog at home and have walked and cared for many dogs when my (now grown) son had an account.

About: I used to be a manager at a dog shelter which I absolutely loved before moving to a new state. I’ve also grown up on a farm and handled all types of pets from goats, pigs, cows to dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I believe every animal deserves to be treated as family not just a pet. I am always home until 3pm when I leave for work, but when I am not home my partner is home. Someone will always be there to take care of your furry or scaly family and will never be left without someone even for a second. They will be welcomed with love, play, and kindness in my home. We will ensure nothing is around that will harm the animal whether it is cables, shoes, food, etc. we will always be around to ensure your pet is taken care of and in good health.
