My dog passed away in 2021 and I've been looking for opportunities to make some new furry friends ever since! I've played and walked and taken care of many dogs of many breeds and sizes at various levels of training. If you have specific training or behavioral goals for your dog, I will be sure to incorporate that into my visits. Currently, I work at my full-time job from 3:30am-noon and can be available as soon as 12:30pm or as soon as it takes me to travel to your pet's location. I am very flexible when it comes to the specifics in how you and your pet would like our visits to work! We could go for walks on a specific path, play to exercise and deplete built up energy, or simply run around in the fenced-in backyard for potty time.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire life! I had my first dog, adopted from Dogs XL, in 2014. I love big dogs, little dogs, and medium dogs. All breeds and types (with a preferred love for rescues!). I love learning the personalities of new animals, and learning their quirks and how they show their love. I just graduated from college and am currently looking for long-term employment. Due to only having part-time gigs right now, your animal will have frequent walks, supervised time outside, and pets. I am willing to be flexible in my schedule for home visits too, coming as frequently as desired. I have a fenced yard and no other animals in the house, but two parents, a brother, and myself (all pet lovers), so there will be lots of people to keep your animals company and play.

About: I'm the woman taking an evening walk and asking if I can say Hi! to your dog. Two dogs - one as a child, the second 35 years later - were among the most important relationships of my life. No offence to family and friends. The second was a Black Lab and taking him on his evening walk in a local park in Moscow was the best part of every day. I'm retired and walk for pleasure anyhow. I am the servant of Dasha, a rescue cat with more personality than good sense, who is willing to let me spend nights away to take care of your beloved dog or cat. Friends and family have already benefited from my "service" - and now you can too. I'm retired, with a schedule that is my own to make. I'm only looking for Rover duties in the 20814 and nearby zip codes that I can get to easily and quickly. Daily activities include daily walks and almost daily lap swimming, lots of reading, too much scrolling, and occasional editing and writing gigs. Oh, and playing with my cat Dasha. When staying over for your dog, I'd live at your place and visit Dasha for a few hours daily, as well as go out for errands and laps at the Y pool. I expect dogs to need attention and I'll give it. Though we lived in an apartment in Moscow, our Black Lab Jasper enjoyed the life of Riley, with walks at nearby parks. Most of the day he spent following us from room to room, positioning himself strategically so he always could see one of us at all times. Cats, of course, are different; I wait for Dasha to emerge from wherever she's "hiding" to let me know when she wants to be played with, brushed, petted. If this is your pet - great. We would love to care for your furry family member and treat them as our own in your absence. We also offer 2-3 walks per day throughout our neighborhood (has sidewalks). I am home during the day with my children so your dogs are rarely left alone. **Please note: late pick-ups are accepted however, daycare fees may apply. Thank you for your consideration.
