About: Currently my brother and I are working from home and don't mind having your dog here to accompany us. We love furry guests! I've had/watched dogs all my life ranging from teacups to great Danes, we love them all! Working from home 5 days a week (introverts for sure) we are available most week days and weekends. About: My partner and her family all have dogs so I am always there for them when they need their furries taken care off while they’re away. They rely on me and trust me with them I like going on walks and taking my time exploring outside world so I would like to show a dog around and interact with other pet owners For my partner and families, their dogs are easy to take care of as they have each other to play but I make sure that they are separated when it’s time to eat because that is how they can safely have their meal with no problem. As for my cat, he is very in-tune with nature so I sit with him on the porch as he people watches and just enjoys the wind.

About: I believe it is not only that I like dogs - I believe dogs like me. Dog walker out of Manor Park, NW DC I'm a lifelong dog person. I grew up with Labs and I have had dogs of my own throughout my life as an adult. I am an active person who is not shy about the weather. Rain, snow, and heat don't bother me, and your dog gets a proper walk regardless of the forecast. I come from the school of thought, "there is no bad weather, just bad gear choices." What you can expect: I'll arrive on time, follow your routine (leash, route, treats, any quirks), and send you a photo and short update after each walk. I also dabble in photography, so you'll get good pictures of your pup. Normally I travel with a bag of kibble to give the dogs a small treat at the end of our walk. The dogs really seem to enjoy the treats. I'm happy to do a free meet-and-greet first so your dog and I can get to know each other. Where I walk: Manor Park and nearby neighborhoods, with Rock Creek Park and local parks for longer walks. Midday weekday walks are my specialty, and I'm flexible on days and times. The walk destination usually depends on the location of the house that the dog lives. When in Silver Spring I normally migrate to the closest neighborhood park or Sligo Creek. It all depends on a combination of location and duration of the walk. About me: Just over a year as a professional dog walker on top of my spend with my dogs and the family dogs. I am a conscientious pet provider, keeping in mind the differences in personality of each pet and the approach required to earn their trust. I am always on time, and take extra steps to ensure your pet is very well cared for, and that your pet and home are secured properly when I leave. I've been around animals all my life and am an active member of the neighborhood cat coalition to assist with trap, neuter, and release (TNR) the local cat population. My patient style when approaching an animal has helped safely trap and neuter several cats in our neighborhood. Additionally, my children grew up raising animals with the 4H community - cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, so I've been involved in all aspects of animals' care and safety.
