About: As a child, I grew up in a household with multiple dogs around at all times. I have cared for and trained dogs of all sizes. My fiance and I would love to be around more dogs as we aren’t able to have one of our own yet! We only have experience with dogs at this time but we welcome cats as well! My boyfriend and I work from home during the week and are generally available to care on Friday and the weekend! We don’t have children so our schedules are very flexible. We are very attentive, affectionate, and responsive to the needs of our pets. We make sure to go on frequent walks and adventures around the park to remain an active and fun place for pets!

About: I'm a lifelong dog owner/lover who is also about a year and a half into learning how to be a cat mom. It's a pretty tight competition between my 8yo son and my 6yo beagle as to who loves dogs more. I work from home so if your pet doesn't like to be alone, that is not a problem. Walks and brushings are daily activities. Since the animals are allowed on the furniture the daily brushing is a must. Our cat has asthma and uses a daily inhaler, so if your pet also has medical issues/needs, they will fit right in. I've been petsitting for years for friends and family and would love to host your loved one as well. I work from home and occasionally have meetings or appointments during the day, so regular walks and lots of attention are easily managed. I also work for myself, so I have the ability to set my schedule. My backyard is fenced in, so unexpected potty needs or sunbathing are always accommodated. No space or piece of furniture is off limits to pets in my home.

5/5 Stars — Amazing experience, highly recommend! Mahira took wonderful care of our energetic, playful dog, Max, for a day camp while our family visited the DC National Zoo. Since Max can get pretty hyper and loves to run around, having a fenced yard was a must, and Mahira's setup was perfect for him. She was super communicative, flexible when we were running a bit late, and treated Max like her own. Max had an absolute blast playing with her super friendly 8-month-old puppy, Jaanu! It gave us total peace of mind during our day out knowing Max was in such loving and capable hands. Thank you so much, Mahira! We would definitely book with you again.
