About: I'm a lifelong dog owner/lover who is also about a year and a half into learning how to be a cat mom. It's a pretty tight competition between my 8yo son and my 6yo beagle as to who loves dogs more. I work from home so if your pet doesn't like to be alone, that is not a problem. Walks and brushings are daily activities. Since the animals are allowed on the furniture the daily brushing is a must. Our cat has asthma and uses a daily inhaler, so if your pet also has medical issues/needs, they will fit right in. I've been petsitting for years for friends and family and would love to host your loved one as well. I work from home and occasionally have meetings or appointments during the day, so regular walks and lots of attention are easily managed. I also work for myself, so I have the ability to set my schedule. My backyard is fenced in, so unexpected potty needs or sunbathing are always accommodated. No space or piece of furniture is off limits to pets in my home.

About: I have grown up with dogs from a young kid and they have always been a constant in my life. My kids always had at least 2 dogs in the house and even though they are gone, I still loving pets around. I specifically like to take care of small to medium dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that are house trained. I am very excited to start this journey on Rover and meet and take care of your dogs. I am retired and am at home full-time which gives me the availability to fully cater to your dogs. I like to go on walks in my neighbourhood and spend time in my fenced in backyard. About: I’ve had all types of pets growing up from fish, turtles, cats, three dogs, a bunny, an insane amount of guinea pigs you name it. Always loved furry friends. I recently relocated to the DMV area and had to leave my job. I wanted to do something I love and I love animals so I have plenty of free time for your babies! About: I am a dedicated dog lover who grew up caring for my childhood dog and spending time with other family and friend’s dogs. Six years ago, I adopted my own dog, Louie, a rescue from West Virginia. He gets along great with other dogs and we love to spend time outdoors (weather permitting) or relaxing together with plenty of belly rubs (if that's what your pet likes). 5/5 Stars — Amazing experience, highly recommend! Mahira took wonderful care of our energetic, playful dog, Max, for a day camp while our family visited the DC National Zoo. Since Max can get pretty hyper and loves to run around, having a fenced yard was a must, and Mahira's setup was perfect for him. She was super communicative, flexible when we were running a bit late, and treated Max like her own. Max had an absolute blast playing with her super friendly 8-month-old puppy, Jaanu! It gave us total peace of mind during our day out knowing Max was in such loving and capable hands. Thank you so much, Mahira! We would definitely book with you again.
Poppy spent 8 days in daycare and Cassidy was flexible with my bathroom renovation schedule. Best of all she loves beagles and Poppy loved going to her home, in fact she eagerly looked forward to it knowing she had the companionship of other dogs and especially with Cassidy.
Jobi was fantastic looking after Lentil for the day! Lentil is a handful (lots of nervous and playful energy) but she was so patient and sent me lots of photo updates! Also communication was a breeze and Jobi was very accommodating with the meet and greet so Lentil could meet her pets (huge shout out to Biscuit and Gravy for putting up with a giant puppy 😂). I highly recommend Jobi and will be booking another daycare stay in a couple of days!
My little pup Effie had a great time. Chloe and Sam are really nice and took good care of my puppy. I was happy to see that she slept, ate, ands played like age was at home. Usually when I leave her at daycare she is happy to see me and can’t wait to get home. But when it was time to leave Chloe’s she wanted to stay and did not seemed too thrilled to leave. I’ll definitely bring Effie back here
Over the past two years, Amani has been the best, most reliable daycare for my golden Blob. Every single time I drop her off, Blob is absolutely out of her mind with joy to see Amani. When she comes home, Blob is dead dog tired after a full day of play. Blob formed a particular attachment to Amani's son, who taught her tricks, read to her, and played soccer with her. Their friendship is absolutely adorable. Amani took excellent care of Blob weekly from when she was two months old to two years old. Through that time, she was always flexible when my needs changed, picking up Blob or changing the date when I requested. We are sad to be moving out of state and will truly miss Amani and her family.
Chanelle provides greatcarefor Poppy who was reluctant to go with her when we started in January. Now Poppy waits at the door with tail wagging eager to go. Chanelle boarded Poppy last week while I was on vacation. Poppy was very happy and I ws confident she was very well cared for by Chanelle who truly enjoys her.

We were visiting DC from out of state for the 4th and wanted to visit the Great American State Fair, and not only was it WAY too hot outside for our standard poodle, but dogs weren’t allowed in the festival. We messaged Josefa to check on her availability and within hours we were dropping our baby off and she was gracious enough to allow us an 11:30pm pickup. Josefa sent us pictures during Cliff’s stay and he looked relaxed and seemed excited to see us when we picked him up, but otherwise calm and not at all stressed. I have a feeling he just got petted and loved on the whole time he was there. Highly recommend this very responsive and super sweet sitter. Thank you again Josefa for taking such good care of our Cliff!!
Gregory is so wonderful with Evie! We’ve used him multiple times and, honestly, it brings me so much joy and ease to know they take care of Evie like their own.
