About: We welcome your pet into our home and will accommodate their needs. Dogs will be housed between our Garden apartment and the upstairs kitchen both of which have direct access to the backyard with plenty of roaming and playtime. Cats are lodged in the rest of the house where there is ample climbing and playtime. Pick-up and drop-off may be available based on availability. Cost based on travel time. Grooming may also be availability upon advanced request. Mother/daughter team will make sure to provide the best care and attention and follow individual instruction for care. We are home most of the time to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy! Your pet is invited to join us in our home. Dogs are lodged in the kitchen and/or garden apartment with direct backyard access. Human sleeps in apt when dogs are here. Cats are lodged upstairs and we can accommodate depending on their own needs and personality. It is also helpful to have their crate and/or bed so they have a familiar space and can get some respite from other cats if needed.

About: My Golden Lab, Grace, was my best friend. She escaped from a puppy mill at 3 months old and I had her ever since. Dogs offer such unconditional love and the chance to repay that even a little bit is rewarding. I work full time in mental health close to home. I have a flexible schedule that allows me a lot of free time and the ability to make my own schedule. I love reading, writing, cooking and exploring my new city I now call home. I'm also experienced in taking care of bunnies as well and have sat over 10 clients. I love chilling with them while reading! I mean, it’s a fact that floppy bunny ears are the cutest thing ever, right? I think Bill Nye the Science Guy taught me that. My experience with pets over the years has taught me that they often act out when they don’t feel comfortable. They also sometimes show aggression or fear in new circumstances. This is all totally normal! My first focus is always allowing a visiting pooch to scope out the place at their own pace without any distractions. This allows them to feel as comfortable as possible. I stay close and keep a special eye on them in case they’re telling me with body language that they’re upset, scared, hungry or just want some outside time! I learned from Grace that all animals deserve compassion and understanding and they’ll feel loved and understood. I would love the chance to provide a home-away-from-home for your doggie that they will love to return to each time you’re away! I work three days of the week remotely, leaving me with a lot of one on one time with your fur baby to cuddle, take a walk, or have a belly rub! When your baby steps into my home, they are now officially in a space they are free to explore without restrict so they can find the most comfortable spot that makes them feel cozy and welcomed!

About: I have grown up with dogs from a young kid and they have always been a constant in my life. My kids always had at least 2 dogs in the house and even though they are gone, I still loving pets around. I specifically like to take care of small to medium dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that are house trained. I am very excited to start this journey on Rover and meet and take care of your dogs. I am retired and am at home full-time which gives me the availability to fully cater to your dogs. I like to go on walks in my neighbourhood and spend time in my fenced in backyard. I have a fenced in backyard with plent of room to play and run around. I also have a very walkable neighbourhood and have an extra room for your pet to have their space.

About: Having grown up with dogs and owning my own as an adult for many years, taking care of dogs comes naturally to me. I am the go-to “favorite aunty” when it comes to sitting for my friends’ dogs. Given I work from home, I figured I could expand my services and care for dogs that aren’t already “in the family.” I work for myself from home, so I set my own schedule, offering me lots of flexibility. I love taking walks already, so taking a furry friend with me fits in nicely with my routine. In addition, I love the cuddles and companionship a dog offers and am happy to be a calming, loving presence for your dog during the day or overnight, if need be. I have an outdoor space attached to my apartment for emergency outdoor visits, plus I love going on walks around my neighborhood for a little extra movement and exercise and potty needs. If there is a nearby dog park or a fenced in yard at the pet’s home, I’m happy to utilize that for more off leash play. If the dog is open to it, I’m a big fan of snuggling on the couch together.

About: I used to be a manager at a dog shelter which I absolutely loved before moving to a new state. I’ve also grown up on a farm and handled all types of pets from goats, pigs, cows to dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I believe every animal deserves to be treated as family not just a pet. I am always home until 3pm when I leave for work, but when I am not home my partner is home. Someone will always be there to take care of your furry or scaly family and will never be left without someone even for a second. They will be welcomed with love, play, and kindness in my home. We will ensure nothing is around that will harm the animal whether it is cables, shoes, food, etc. we will always be around to ensure your pet is taken care of and in good health.

I want to slowly ease myself into moving on and I figured this would be the best way. I have had amazing experiences training and taking care of pets since I was at a very young age.
