About: We welcome your pet into our home and will accommodate their needs. Dogs will be housed between our Garden apartment and the upstairs kitchen both of which have direct access to the backyard with plenty of roaming and playtime. Cats are lodged in the rest of the house where there is ample climbing and playtime. Pick-up and drop-off may be available based on availability. Cost based on travel time. Grooming may also be availability upon advanced request. Mother/daughter team will make sure to provide the best care and attention and follow individual instruction for care. We are home most of the time to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy! Your pet is invited to join us in our home. Dogs are lodged in the kitchen and/or garden apartment with direct backyard access. Human sleeps in apt when dogs are here. Cats are lodged upstairs and we can accommodate depending on their own needs and personality. It is also helpful to have their crate and/or bed so they have a familiar space and can get some respite from other cats if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of pets from 4mo-17yo and became their fave aunt (RIP Dasher, DJ, Tex). BOARDING/DAYCARE: Jared, my spouse, and I host pet staycations at our home, by Rock Creek Park in Silver Spring! We welcome max 2 dogs & 2 cats. We have 1 chill big dog & a cat. I work hybrid and, for boarding, Jared works from home. PS: house sitting is for home-trained pets who can be left alone. Round-the-clock sitting may be available upon request. - had a professional training but adapt to pet parents’ care style. - experienced with leash reactive dogs. - no human food (I'd just avoid eye contacts 🥹). - If they’re in training, I can keep the learning process going. - I tend to pamper senior pets. - HOUSESITTING/BOARDING: I’d let your pet(s) sleep with me if allowed 🥰 - BOARDING/DAYCARE: we have pet-safe, quiet green areas in the apt complex for dogs to run around. VISIT/SITTING: - I clean up after pets & myself, happy to help with simple chores (e.g., plants, mails). - I don’t mix your pet with others’ - I don’t bring anyone to stay in and I’m past my 20s so no parties :)).

Amanda has been so easy to communicate with, and hosted us for a brief meet and greet before Fitz’s first stay. She asked lots of great questions about how to keep Fitz safe and happy, and drop-off/pick-up were a breeze. We so appreciate the peace of mind knowing our little girl is being treated like family. Amanda also sent pictures during the day so we could see our pup living her best life. We (and especially Fitz) can’t wait until next time!”

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. I’ve owned an Airedale terrier, a pug, a Russian terrier, and my family currently has a Japanese spitz. I’ve got all sorts of experience - I have adopted a doggie from a shelter before, and I’ve also raised my two pups from 3 months old until they passed a few months ago at ages 14 and 16. I’ve boarded dogs - I looked after a friend’s pug for a week, a family friend’s elderly golden retriever, and fostered a stray my sister and I rescued before someone adopted her. I’ve taken road trips with multiple pets, and flown across the country with 3 of my dogs, I’ve taken them to all sorts of vet appointments, and been with them through all stages of their lives. I’m on this platform looking for company to heal from losing my furry friends, because being around dogs brings me peace and joy. You can rest assured that I’ll take great pleasure in taking care of them and having them in my home. I work fully from home. Sometimes I step out for errands for a couple of hours, but mostly I’m at home all day. At the exception of a few things here and there, I’d be with your pup the entire time. I’ve always let my dogs run free around the house and make a safe space for them where they liked, but I did crate my rescue doggie when he first arrived to slowly acclimate him to the new place. Whatever you prefer for your dog is fine by me and I’m happy to accommodate. I don’t have a yard, but I have plenty of green areas nearby where I’d walk your furry pal. I keep my dogs on leash at all times. I like training them and playing with them to give them some mental stimulation, but if they prefer to chill and not be bothered I’m cool with that as well

Paul has been wonderful with our young pup. After her first week with him, she’s walking better on a leash and we love that she can get a lot of her energy out with him and her classmates throughout the day so she’s more settled in the evenings with us. He sends frequent updates and is so easy to communicate with. Paul even took the initiative to purchase a slow feeder bowl just for her to use while she’s in daycare so we don’t have to keep sending her with her own from home! We really appreciate Paul’s care and will likely be using his services long term.
Diana is a kind soul and an amazing host for my puppy. She’s been very helpful with potty training and always makes sure everything feels safe and comfortable. Her adorable dog, Charlie, is super chill and friendly, which makes the environment even better. Diana is flexible, responsive, and you can feel her genuine passion for caring for animals. We’re already asking her to set up regular visits because we trust her completely. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Elaine was super attentive to and caring with our 7 month old pup. He came home very happy and relaxedl having had a fun day of play and outdoor time in her yard. She was also very responsive with organizing drop off and pick and even went and bought food for him when I forgot to add some for the day. Amazing! I am very grateful for her caring for him so well for the day.
I have a Malinois Mix, so he is very high every not every Rover sitter has the skills to take good care of him. So, it really means a lot to me when someone seems to genuinely enjoy taking care of him, and really makes an effort to be active with him. Moises always goes above and beyond to care for my dog. He takes such good care of Sisko, and I can tell Sisko had a lot of fun with Moises + loves him. I couldn't recommend Moises more, and thanks so much!
