About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. I’ve owned an Airedale terrier, a pug, a Russian terrier, and my family currently has a Japanese spitz. I’ve got all sorts of experience - I have adopted a doggie from a shelter before, and I’ve also raised my two pups from 3 months old until they passed a few months ago at ages 14 and 16. I’ve boarded dogs - I looked after a friend’s pug for a week, a family friend’s elderly golden retriever, and fostered a stray my sister and I rescued before someone adopted her. I’ve taken road trips with multiple pets, and flown across the country with 3 of my dogs, I’ve taken them to all sorts of vet appointments, and been with them through all stages of their lives. I’m on this platform looking for company to heal from losing my furry friends, because being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I am a performing artist and I travel a lot for concerts, so having my own pet is unfortunately not feasible at the moment, hence I decided that taking care of someone else’s furry babies while I’m home between performances is the second best thing:) You can rest assured that I’ll take great pleasure in taking care of them and having them in my home. I work from home during the day and I am home from evening until morning, too. I do however step out for errands and appointments. Your dog will be with me most of the time while staying in my home, walked 2-3 times and fed on schedule, but should be comfortable being on its own for 2-3 hours max, if I have things to do. If your doggie has severe separation anxiety and is unable to be alone at all, I can accommodate that with enough notice and for 2x my normal nightly rate. I’ve always let my dogs run free around the house and make a safe space for them where they liked, but I did crate my rescue doggie when he first arrived to slowly acclimate him to the new place. Whatever you prefer for your dog is fine by me and I’m happy to accommodate. I don’t have a yard, but I have plenty of green areas nearby where I’d walk your furry pal. I keep my dogs on leash at all times. I like training them and playing with them to give them some mental stimulation, but if they prefer to chill and not be bothered I’m cool with that as well
“Diana did an excellent job watching my dog. She asked about his likes and dislikes beforehand and was good at communicating drop-off and pick-up. She kept him entertained throughout the day with games of fetch and walks. I would definitely have her watch my dog again.”
“Spike had a great time here! I was a little worried at first because he gets a little territorial around his house toward other dogs but has always been good at doggy day care, I just thought maybe since it was out of a house, he would think it was his right away, haha! But they have a great way of integrating and letting the dogs get comfortable with the space and other dogs. They really have this down to a science! They showed my big boye lots of love and fun, even gave him a goodie bag of new toys to play with! Thanks so much for your care and commitment!”

About: Hello, I’m Carrie and I love dogs! I have two dogs right now - Mattie (14) and Mavis (4) - and I’ve had at least one my entire life. I grew up around animals and love being with them and taking care of them. I first used Rover for a 2-week boarding for my dogs a few years ago and it was such a wonderful experience I thought I’d open my home for dog daycare and boarding, too. My dogs have had less than great experiences in dog boarding facilities and so I understand the desire to have a family home environment for your dog while you are away! I would welcome your dog for daycare or boarding at my home where I have both a fenced yard and a wooded area with a stream for daily walks. I take my dogs out at least three times a day. The home is a single family home with two levels and lots of space. I work primarily from home and on the days when I’m at the office, my husband works from home. I would take care of your pup on the same scheduled as my dogs unless you request a specific schedule. My dogs have the roam of the home and I have a fenced in yard and an outdoor space into the woods for leashed walks. I welcome you to bring your dog with whatever would make the dog comfortable during the stay and have plenty of space for crates, beds, dishes, etc.

About: I have always loved animals and have played with, taken care of, and petsat my friends cats and dogs often. I am a quick learner and follow instructions carefully to take the best care of your pet. I am currently working part time with lots of flexibility in my schedule. I have availability on weekdays and weekends. Just let me know when I am needed! I have a fenced backyard and a park within a block of my house. There are no other pets at my home if that may be a problem with boarding. There is lots of space in my home.

Elaine was super attentive to and caring with our 7 month old pup. He came home very happy and relaxedl having had a fun day of play and outdoor time in her yard. She was also very responsive with organizing drop off and pick and even went and bought food for him when I forgot to add some for the day. Amazing! I have a Malinois Mix, so he is very high every not every Rover sitter has the skills to take good care of him. So, it really means a lot to me when someone seems to genuinely enjoy taking care of him, and really makes an effort to be active with him. Moises always goes above and beyond to care for my dog. He takes such good care of Sisko, and I can tell Sisko had a lot of fun with Moises + loves him. I couldn't recommend Moises more, and thanks so much!

Kerri is such an incredible person! She treated my furry brother Rio like he was part of her own family. Rio got so much love and attention from her.
