About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

About: As a child, I grew up in a household with multiple dogs around at all times. I have cared for and trained dogs of all sizes. The home is a single family home with two levels and lots of space. I work primarily from home and on the days when I’m at the office, my husband works from home. I would take care of your pup on the same scheduled as my dogs unless you request a specific schedule. My dogs have the roam of the home and I have a fenced in yard and an outdoor space into the woods for leashed walks. No offence to family and friends. The second was a Black Lab and taking him on his evening walk in a local park in Moscow was the best part of every day. I'm retired and walk for pleasure anyhow. I am the servant of Dasha, a rescue cat with more personality than good sense, who is willing to let me spend nights away to take care of your beloved dog or cat. Friends and family have already benefited from my "service" - and now you can too. I'm retired, with a schedule that is my own to make. I'm only looking for Rover duties in the 20814 and nearby zip codes that I can get to easily and quickly. Daily activities include daily walks and almost daily lap swimming, lots of reading, too much scrolling, and occasional editing and writing gigs. Oh, and playing with my cat Dasha. When staying over for your dog, I'd live at your place and visit Dasha for a few hours daily, as well as go out for errands and laps at the Y pool. I expect dogs to need attention and I'll give it. Though we lived in an apartment in Moscow, our Black Lab Jasper enjoyed the life of Riley, with walks at nearby parks. Most of the day he spent following us from room to room, positioning himself strategically so he always could see one of us at all times. Cats, of course, are different; I wait for Dasha to emerge from wherever she's "hiding" to let me know when she wants to be played with, brushed, petted. If this is your pet - great. If not, I'll adapt to that, too!

I think it is a big plus that Kelly has a yard where the dogs could work off some of their energy and play. I really appreciated the updates and photos that Kelly sent through the stay, which put us at ease. I would really recommend Kelly - five stars!”
