I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can give your pup my full attention throughout the day. My routine is built entirely around the dogs in my care, and I’m happy to adjust it to meet their individual needs. Here’s what a typical day looks like: • Morning walk: 7:00–9:00 AM • Midday walk: 2:00–4:00 PM • Evening walk: 6:00–8:00 PM • Final potty break before bedtime • Dog park trips once a day, usually in the morning, midday, or evening depending on the weather and the dogs’ energy 🐶 If you prefer individual walks, I’m happy to take pups out one at a time. Each walk, meal, and playtime is planned to keep your dog happy, active, and relaxed—just like home. I also know how important peace of mind is when you’re away, so I make sure to share plenty of photos and videos throughout the day. That way, you’ll always know your pup is safe, cared for, and having a great time.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a safe, pet-friendly apartment with a fenced yard and a dog park just 5 minutes away by car. I can administer medications if needed, and I’m comfortable with special routines like crate training, diet restrictions, or walk preferences. I also have lots of treats at home, but I’ll follow your preferences when it comes to feeding and snacks. If your pup ever needs a vet visit while staying with me, I can take them safely and keep you updated. You don’t need to bring food bowls — I have plenty of clean ones ready to go. I also kindly ask that all dogs be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, etc.) before their visit so everyone can play and socialize safely. Your pup’s health and well-being are always my top priority 🤎

Information Soyoun P. would like to know about your pet
To give your pup the best care possible, I’d love to know a few things in advance: • Does your dog have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications? • How do they handle new environments, people, or other dogs? • Do they have any behavioral quirks I should know? (e.g., barking, marking, chewing, separation anxiety) • Are they crate-trained, or do they prefer to roam freely? • What’s their feeding schedule, and are there any dietary restrictions? • How do they usually communicate their needs (potty, stress, excitement)? Please don’t worry if your pup has unique habits — I just want to understand their personality so I can help them feel safe and happy here! Since I love snuggling with dogs on the couch or even letting them share the bed, I kindly ask that pups come reasonably clean and brushed. This way, they’ll be comfortable, and we can enjoy plenty of cuddle time together 🤎
A typical day
Here’s what a typical day looks like at our place: • Breakfast (7:30–8:00 AM) — We always start with a good meal to get the day going. • Morning walk & dog park — After breakfast, I usually take dogs on a short individual walk, then we all head to the nearby dog park together so they can run, play, and socialize. • Nap & downtime — Once we’re back, pups enjoy 2–4 hours of rest with “dog TV” playing in the background. They can nap on the couch, my bed, or a cozy dog bed—whatever makes them most comfortable. • Midday walk (around 2–4 PM) — Time to stretch their legs again and get fresh air. • Evening walk (6–7 PM) — A calm walk to wind down the day. • Final potty break before bed — One last outing before everyone settles in for the night. I adjust the schedule depending on each pup’s personality and energy level—some love extra play or fetch, while others prefer cuddles and calm time. Either way, every dog gets the right mix of movement, social time, and rest.

Pet care experience
I’ve always loved animals and grew up surrounded by pets. Before adopting my own dog, Tani, I spent time volunteering at a local animal shelter to learn more about different dog personalities and how to care for them. I now work full-time from home, so your pup will have my full attention throughout the day. Depending on the weather and the dogs’ energy, I sometimes take them to a large dog park just 5 minutes away—usually in the morning or midday. It’s a great way for them to play, explore, and burn off energy. My dog Tani is very well-socialized and friendly with dogs of all sizes, which helps other pups feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve also been on the other side as a pet parent using Rover while I was away for work, so I understand how important it is to find someone who’s trustworthy, responsive, and genuinely caring. I’ve walked dogs up to 70 pounds before, and I’m comfortable caring for larger breeds as long as they are leash-trained. Whether it’s cuddle time, walks, or just a calm place to stay, I’m here to give your pup a loving second home. I recently moved here from Boston, where I often cared for neighbors’ dogs. While I’m new to Rover and don’t have reviews on the platform yet, many pet parents already trust me through word-of-mouth referrals. I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, and I bring that same level of dedication and love to every pup I look after. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to get to know you and your pup!
Reviews

She was great with my dog and provided lots of pictures and updates throughout the day!

Soyoun was great! She was home with the dog all the time, and was very attentive to her (e.g., noticing itching, sore elbow), and communicated about questions or concerns. She even trimmed the fur on our dog's paws so she could get better traction on the floor, and, on her own initiative, brushed our dog every evening, as many times as the dog pawed for more. She also administered two pills per day and was very conscientious about making sure she understand the dosing. Soyoun took our dog to the dog park daily (making sure to do so when it wasn't too hot), and sent many photos and videos. She has her own very friendly dog, which I think our dog enjoyed. I highly recommend her and plan to use book again.
Soyoun was thoughtful, responsive, and thorough. Took good care of our lab for a few days.
