I've had dogs my whole life and have two family dogs back in my hometown, Kalamazoo MI. I have hands on experience with feeding, walking, training, and playtime. I've worked with multiple breeds including Havanese, Schnauzers, Labs, Airedales, and Poodles, so I understand that each dog has unique needs and personality traits. I have extensive dog sitting and house sitting experience, and recently had my dogs stay with me while my family came to visit; meaning I'm comfortable maintaining your pet's routine in their own environment as well as my own. I'm also comfortable with large dogs, high-energy puppies, senior dogs with special needs, and dogs that shed. I love staying active, so long walks and outdoor adventures are my specialty!

Elaine does a great job with my energetic 3 year old lab. She is very responsible and easy to work with.
Elaine was super attentive to and caring with our 7 month old pup. He came home very happy and relaxedl having had a fun day of play and outdoor time in her yard. She was also very responsive with organizing drop off and pick and even went and bought food for him when I forgot to add some for the day. Amazing! I am very grateful for her caring for him so well for the day.
Elaine was so flexible and so responsive to my texts. She didn't seem intimidated by my large, active dog, and she took great care of him. Thanks so much!
Elaine was amazing with Ponyo. Ponyo was instantly comfortable during the visit and lounged on the couch all day which is what she does at home. Highly recommend!

During walks, I use proper leash techniques, stay alert to surroundings, and avoid situations that could be unsafe for your pet. I'm comfortable administering medications and handling unexpected situations calm. I provide regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well-cared for. If I'm watching pets in my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and give each animal the attention and exercise they need. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, kindness, and genuine care.
