About: Hi everyone, My name is Rachel and I am a huge animal lover who is passionate about providing the best care and companionship for our furry friends. I have been pet sitting for close to 7 years now, through Wag and also with Rover. Experience in administering medicine for both cats and dogs. I grew up with animals, as I had taken care of my own dog-Misia, a coackapoo, for 10 years and my mother with her Havanese dog, Tomo, of 4 years (and on-going!) I lead an active lifestyle and take dogs out for a long walk or find fun ways to play with cats too. About: Growing up I’ve always had animal companions in my family’s house. My family has had generations of dogs raised into senior ages full of health. I currently have my buddy Timmy who’s been with me since I was 9, he’s a 14 year old German Shepard, Corgi mix. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I miss having them around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I've taken care of animals all my life, from cats to dogs to guinea pigs to horses. I cared for/owned horses for four years (no big dog is too scary!), have had cats all my life, and had a hyper Aussie and sweet beagle of my own. I can take care of the youngest puppy to the oldest dog and my puppy days certainly hardened me for non-stop playtime and bountiful walks. If I house sit then I remain at the house for most of the day and take care of the animals there, making sure to never leave them for more than a few hours. For drop-ins and walking, I make sure to build my daily schedule around those visits. I follow all instructions laid out to me by the owners and make sure the animals get their play while being safe and secure. I make sure to follow potty and food schedules, and ensure dogs get their daily exercise if it’s needed.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
