I’d like to know a bit about your pet’s personality ahead of time so I can make sure they are behaving normally while you’re away. For dogs, please let me know if there are specific things in their environment that make them nervous or scared while on walks. Generally, I’d like to know what to do to ensure your pet is comfortable around me.
A typical day
For cats, I love to add in some play time with a stick toy or a laser. For dogs, tug time is a favorite of my dog back home so I love playing with them. Also sniff walks for dogs — they love getting time outside!

Pet care experience
I’ve lived with pets my entire life and they are so dear to me. My family has had multiple cats at all times and a dog, and I’ve contributed to their care for years. I also have a cat of my own now, who I’ve had for 5 years. I am experienced in tending to cat litter boxes, food, water, and play time. I also have experience giving medication orally and topically for cats. I am a firm believer in letting cats come to you - if your kitty loves humans and attention, great! But if they are more shy, I’m happy to let them have their space. I am also experienced in walking dogs and providing food, water, and oral medications. I am a pretty active person, so if your dog needs longer walks I can easily accommodate them.

Maddie was incredible with Cherry. They had rapport right away. She was responsible, communicative and walked for an hour in the hot sun and rain to make sure Cherry got her exercise. Highly recommend her to all pet parents!
Madeleine has been taking care of my dog and 3 cats for 8 years now. She has her own cat as well. She loves animals and takes the time to make sure they know it. She is one of the most responsible people I know.
Maddie is a huge pet lover, and has been monumental in my getting a kitten. She has played with her, given her medication (from a syringe, which she hates), and cut her nails. She is a stellar pet sitter.
