About: I previously owned a wonderful dog named Ollie, who taught me just how important love, patience, and routine are when it comes to pet care. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I miss having them around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I am readily available to give your dog long walks, playtime, or simply lots of attention and cuddles. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard and have gates that I can put up inside the house up if need be. We usually don’t like dogs going in the basement, mainly because that’s the kids area and there are lots of small items and toys they can get into.

I grew up with animals, as I had taken care of my own dog-Misia, a coackapoo, for 10 years and my mother with her Havanese dog, Tomo, of 4 years (and on-going!) About: Hi! My name is Vana and I am a remote worker in DC. I joined this service for some extra money and to meet and play with people's pets! I've taken care of animals all my life, from cats to dogs to guinea pigs to horses. I cared for/owned horses for four years (no big dog is too scary!), have had cats all my life, and had a hyper Aussie and sweet beagle of my own. I can take care of the youngest puppy to the oldest dog and my puppy days certainly hardened me for non-stop playtime and bountiful walks. I know how important pets are to every family and will treat your fur baby as I would my own. Due to my flexible remote/hybrid schedule, I’m available for all-day sitting at your home with frequent potty breaks and walks for a per diem rate, or can do drop-ins throughout the day. If I house sit then I remain at the house for most of the day and take care of the animals there, making sure to never leave them for more than a few hours. For drop-ins and walking, I make sure to build my daily schedule around those visits. I follow all instructions laid out to me by the owners and make sure the animals get their play while being safe and secure. I make sure to follow potty and food schedules, and ensure dogs get their daily exercise if it’s needed.
