“Jonathan was great with our recently adopted dog that gave him a hard time. He was calm, patient and adapted to the situation as needed, communicating well along the way.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable caring for dogs and cats of different sizes and personalities. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, basic routines, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. :::writing{variant=“social_post” id=“64127”} I have a flexible schedule Monday through Wednesday and am available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. Thursday through Sunday, I work from 4–11 PM, but I’m available for morning and afternoon care before work and overnight care after I get home. I’m happy to work with each pet’s normal routine to make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owner is away. I always try to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other specific needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also keeping the home clean and secure. I’m respectful of each pet’s personality and will provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Teffni is so sweet and communicative, and she had to deal with a lot: my dog not wanting to walk in the rain and the front desk attendant giving her a hard time. Really appreciated her help.”

About: I love dogs. All sizes but I have a soft spot for small dogs. I'm the type that like to do long walks and go to doggie parks. Im currently working full time but I know some people work late nights and their puppies need some loving and affection while they are gone. Im that person to give it. Im free from 5:30 to 9pm. Monday through Friday and 10am to 10pm Saturday and Sunday I know how hard it is to trust someone with your baby (I see all pets as babies) so I take this responsibility very serious. I want you to know how caring and responsible and understanding of the importance of taking care of your puppy. I have some puppy toys and a crate for certain times of the day. Doggy parks are a must as well. Plus im very energetic and love playing

“Andrea and Lucia were amazing with our Lilly ! They were super understanding and honestly they really saved the day. We weren’t able to get a dog walker before our vacation started and everyone else was unavailable. They let us know when they picked her up and sent a picture of our little girl. We really appreciate it and will be booking with them again :)”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Angela! I booked her last minute on a Friday because my cousin’s family and I were going away to a wedding, and we needed urgent care for our pets. She responded so quickly, was incredibly understanding of the situation, and immediately put my mind at ease. Throughout the weekend she sent constant updates and pictures, which meant the world to us. She even stepped in to care for another pet I added last minute—without hesitation—and did it all with such care and professionalism. Truly, I could not have asked for anyone better. If you put your pets in her hands, you can trust they will be loved, safe, and so well taken care of. She was amazing, and I am beyond thankful for her help. I would absolutely love to book with her again in the future.”

“Rebecca accepted my last-minute booking request to walk Casper, which I really appreciated! Sent me several photos and I was relieved the little guy had a walk and some company while I was stuck at work!”

My experience has taught me how to stay calm, consistent, and attentive while making sure each dog gets structured, positive, and safe care. I focus on creating a reliable and steady experience for both dogs and owners—making sure walks are not just exercise, but also mentally engaging and well-managed. I treat every dog with care and respect as if they were my own. I work from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so I am generally available for dog walks and visits after 3:00 PM on most weekdays. I also have more flexible availability on weekends and can accommodate morning, midday, and evening bookings when possible. I prioritize safety and, structure, and professional handling in my every interaction with the dog. “Highly recommend Joseph and his family to watch your dogs. I needed someone to come to my home and walk both of my dogs six days a week, for the past four weeks. Extremely reliable, trustworthy, and my dogs loved him and his family. I received daily updates and pictures. I will definitely be using him for future boarding needs and services.”

“Melika is very communicative and does a fantastic job. I’m very pleased with the work she does and the loving way she cares for Loki. I hope I get to use her services frequently.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Four Corners
Mary Beth does an amazing job with our quirky one-eyed chihuahua Polly! She also was able to help us out with our foster dog Lizzie, who was very shy at first. We rest easy knowing our pups have had a good exercise break in their day while we are at the office!

Ajamu has been wonderful with my two pups, Poli and Bruno! 🐾 I feel completely comfortable having him come work with and walk them. He is incredibly patient, calm, and thoughtful in the way he teache and not just the dogs, but us as owners too! It really means a lot to have someone I trust who genuinely takes the time to understand and work with them. We’re so grateful to have found him!

Katherine was super communicative and took great pictures of our Dog Bella on her daily walks and left wonderfully detailed reports. It really put my mind at ease to get her walk alert and updates every day. She also met with us first for a meet and greet and asked a lot of wonderful questions, some I didn’t even think about.

Concetta is wonderful! She loves animals, and bonds easily with them, and she’s extremely professional and dedicated. All of our dogs are delighted to see her for a walk, and we know that they’ll be well cared for and nurtured when she takes care of them when we’re out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
