About: I love pets! I have experience house/dog sitting for clients that have taken vacations of up to 15 days. While house sitting, I can also bring in mail and water plants. In the past, I have been able to watch up to 2 dogs at a time. I love the exercise that comes from walking dogs, and I welcome dogs that have both high and low energy levels. When given specific instructions about caring for someone's dog, I always follow them, never letting my previous experience and "what I usually do" come before meeting the expectations of my clients. I have lived with at least one dog as a pet for 18 years of my life. Let me take care of your dog and be an extension of your love towards them when you cannot be there. I have graduate school classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but I am free for pet care outside of those hours. I am flexible to work around your schedule. I’ve house sat and taken care of cats and dogs while I’ve lived in the house. I’ve also stopped by houses periodically to walk dogs and feed them. I’m open to both methods.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was child, my mother worked as a maid and would take me along. Some of her clients would have dogs and I would play with their dogs and walk them along side their owners when it’s time to go out. Now three years ago I have my own fur-baby as my ESA, which inspired me to continue working with dogs and I’ve been working with them for more than 6 months now at a doggy daycare in the silver spring MD area! Hi! Yes! I really enjoy having pet care as part of my routine. Every day, I make time for feeding, walks or playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention. Throughout the week, I also handle grooming, cleaning, and making sure they’re happy and healthy. Please feel free to reach out with any questions for your fur-babies! If any of your pets need medication, timers and alarms will be set to be given at accurate times. Daily/frequent pictures and video calls will be sent to you of your fur-babies when requested.

About: I believe it is not only that I like dogs - I believe dogs like me. Dog walker out of Manor Park, NW DC I'm a lifelong dog person. I grew up with Labs and I have had dogs of my own throughout my life as an adult. I am an active person who is not shy about the weather. Rain, snow, and heat don't bother me, and your dog gets a proper walk regardless of the forecast. I come from the school of thought, "there is no bad weather, just bad gear choices." What you can expect: I'll arrive on time, follow your routine (leash, route, treats, any quirks), and send you a photo and short update after each walk. I also dabble in photography, so you'll get good pictures of your pup. Normally I travel with a bag of kibble to give the dogs a small treat at the end of our walk. The dogs really seem to enjoy the treats. I'm happy to do a free meet-and-greet first so your dog and I can get to know each other. Where I walk: Manor Park and nearby neighborhoods, with Rock Creek Park and local parks for longer walks. Midday weekday walks are my specialty, and I'm flexible on days and times. The walk destination usually depends on the location of the house that the dog lives. When in Silver Spring I normally migrate to the closest neighborhood park or Sligo Creek. It all depends on a combination of location and duration of the walk. About me: Just over a year as a professional dog walker on top of my spend with my dogs and the family dogs. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes. I'm active, outdoorsy, and reliable, and I treat every dog's walk like it's my own. Currently working part time. About: I like most, have been around fur babies most of my life. Ive been walking and sitting since 2014. They give the best snuggles and emotional fulfillment that you just can't get anywhere else. Im experienced with medication needs and special requirements if there are any physical issues or injuries that l need to keep an eye on. Ive been sitting Regularly for the past 9 years and its given me the opportunity to work with so many different breed, personalities from 10lb biscuits to 144lb bundles of pup. I always strive to create and maintain a strong sense of family with every animal I meet. I also don't mind any to-do lists during the sit either with the Fur babies or the House. I like to say that Im full service if the need arises I work full time with a dog walking company at the moment but my availability for sitting request can be either adjusted or a none issue on a case by case basis Yes for the last 14yrs I have house sat at the clients location over night or potty/check in when scheduled with very good client satisfaction upon there return.

About: I started sitting in earnest four years ago, but grew up with my own dogs and often babysat for friends and family in high school and college. I’ve cared for Greyhounds, Border Collies, Shihtzus, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, APBTs, one Mastiff, one Akita, one senior German Shpeherd, and one Border Terrier/Shihtzu puppy. I’m a teaching artist, so my fluctuating schedule doesn’t allow me to have my own dogs, but the long periods of remote work and time between gigs means I have very flexible availability and can fill the hole in my heart by being a reliable, loving sitter for others. I really cherish any opportunity to spend time with any pups and look forward to meeting yours! I’m between gigs at the moment, so save some odd appointments, I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening drop in walks, daytime sitting, or longer overnight stays and in-home sitting. I always prefer to take a walk with pet parents leading when I first meet new dogs to get a sense of what they’re used to. For multi-day sitting, I always follow whatever norms you set in your home to make sure training stays consistent and there’s no confusion that may create anxiety for your pups. If working remotely, I try to stay where pups can see me and take lots of breaks for walks, pottying, and pets. Unless you have a specific walking route, I like to stay on quieter streets with slower speed limits and less traffic so walks are calm. I also like to allow lots of time for sniffing (smells stimulate your pup’s brain!) unless you have behavioral or training concerns about avoiding distractions during walks.

About: Currently my brother and I are working from home and don't mind having your dog here to accompany us. We love furry guests! I've had/watched dogs all my life ranging from teacups to great Danes, we love them all! Working from home 5 days a week (introverts for sure) we are available most week days and weekends. Our morning and afternoon walks for its nothing to add your fur baby! We have pups and dislike crates so I let them roam the house. If the house is too foreign I will limit them to the room im occupying with occasional backyard fun and 20/30 min walks. I also send pics daily/hourly depending on owners comfort level.

About: I would love for you all to know about my experience with pet sitting, so I would like to start with a quick story. When I was turning five, my grandpa took me to a pet shop the day before my birthday. After feeding the neighborhood cats and playing with the stray puppies, I just knew I’d come home with a dog of my own that day. I was elated — that is, until we left and I was the owner of a bird. As a five year old, I was disappointed! But I grew to love the bird as I realized I loved other animals. And by the time I turned 12, I finally did have pup of my own. I tell that story to say, I have years of personal experience caring for pets, whether they were my own or not. In my family home, we currently have an elderly dog and a teenaged cat - in my apartment, we have a one year old kitten. I love pets of all ages and sizes and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! You can trust that I’ll give them lots of love and cuddles in your absence! I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible - the main thing I’d have to take into account is commuting! Once I’m there, I’ll have tons of time to spend with your pet, or take them on as many walks as needed. My goal is to make sure you and your pet are happy and comfortable throughout this process! If your pet seems overwhelmed or nervous with me at first, I’ll know how to read this body language and I’ll give them the time and space they need to open up to me. If they want cuddles, they can have as many as they need! I’ll communicate openly with you to ensure your comfort level and trust, and I’ll make sure you and your pet are my top priority!
