Before college starts in the fall, I will be at home this entire summer! This gives me lots of availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings for pet care, which will allow me to be consistent with walks, feedings, check-ins, and quality time with pets during the week, and I’m also flexible and available on weekends.

When caring for pups in a someone else’s home, I make sure to follow their instructions closely so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment and routine. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and make sure pets are safe at all times. I pay attention to details like feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and making sure doors and gates are secure. I always focus on building trust with both pets and owners by being reliable and attentive while giving pets plenty of care and affection.

It’s important for me to know if your dog is wary of humans or men in particular. This helps me move at their pace, give them space when needed, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable when going out. It’s also helpful to know your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, walking habits, and any special needs ahead of time, as well as their personality, energy level, and medications.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the pet, but usually includes walks (or runs!), playtime, and lots of love and attention. I love playing fetch and games, going to the dog park, lounging, hanging out, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I am comfortable with dogs in the car if a little trip is ever in question!

Pet care experience
I’ve always loved dogs and have plenty of experience caring for them. Growing up, my family had two dogs and all of my friends have pups! I pay close attention to each dog’s routine and personality, whether that means helping a puppy learn good habits or giving an older dog a little extra patience and care. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. 🐶💛

Diego loved his runs, cuddles, and walks with Kacy! She was totally dependable and highly responsive, even going the extra mile to return to our home to lock Diego’s crate after a family member forgot to do so. Highly recommend!
Kacy did a great job taking good care to be positive and continue the techniques with my energetic lab puppy! It was hot and she made sure he had water. I would love to have her back.
