About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. Jules was with us only briefly due to her advanced age when she was adopted, while Gemini is a much younger kitten who wasted no time claiming my home as her own. I also recently lost my 10 year old corgi (Sadie) unexpectedly to an extremely aggressive form of cancer, and so would love the opportunity to spend some therapeutic time with your furry kid. Prior to beginning work through Rover, I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs for a variety of friends, family, and neighbors including everything from drop-in visits and dog walking to full-time house/petsitting. Outside of my petsitting duties, I am a PhD chemist working hard to make the battery in your phone last longer and your electric car drive further. My wife and I moved to the Silver Spring area in 2024 for her job as a television producer and I am in the process of establishing myself in the DMV research community. Availability: Except in special cases, I am available for booking at any time of day, any day of the week. I am happy to provide everything from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays. I am from Texas, and my last dog was an English bulldog that I raised from 2 months old. I am working from home, so my schedule is flexible. My work hours are M-Th: 6:30 AM-4:00 PM and Fri: 6:30 AM-10:30 AM I am very attentive and will happily follow any pet care instructions. I understand all pets have their own quirks, and I love to see all their personalities.

About: My kids and I love taking care of dogs and we'd love to help you when you're away from them. We have a fully fenced in home and plenty of space to let your pet spread out. We have been dog sitting off and on for many years now and welcome you in our home. I'm currently working part-time from home so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. My kids are home with me throughout the summer so we will all enjoy spending time and loving your pets Fully fenced in yard (front and back) great nearby parks and outdoor areas for fun and exercise. The yard does have a nice shady area if the summer sun gets too be too much. Large finished and furnished basement for lounging too.
“Leroy was so good with my boy even when he would pull his leash out of excitement and just handled him really well. He listened to all download. I gave him about Ranger and put me at ease immediately. I was out of town for work so he picked my boy up from my parents and ended up chatting with them. Also just showing what an overall friendly and helpful person he is I would recommend him to others and my Boy being a lab is strong and he handled him really well.”
About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little baby! We have always had animals growing up and now as an adult I have two spoiled little pups of my own. I couldn’t imagine my life without these little balls of fur. I make my own schedule so I’m available to love on your pups when needed. I understand the importance of care when you’re away and want to enjoy your trip but still worry about your little ones at home. I have a fenced yard and a dog park near by, however I completely understand if you’re not comfortable with your dog at the dog park. My two pups love company and my significant other is around as well to give extra extra love!

About: I’ll take the best care of your pet as I possibly can! I have taken care of many different dogs and cats for over 10 years, ranging from 6week olds to 14 year olds. I grew up with pets in my house and have always had them close with me so your pup will be in great hands. I have experience walking multiple dogs at a time and keeping dogs overnight at my house for up to several weeks. I currently have one small long haired chihuahua which is 12 years old and gets along with other dogs. Your pup will be treated like family the same way I’d like for my dog to be treated when she is away. I provide daily updates with pictures and videos. Along with how their day went and the activities that we did! I currently work from home full time and will be generally home all day to stay with the pups! Please include the estimated drop off and pick up times. I enjoy taking the dogs on walks to the park and running if your dog is up for it. I make sure the pups get as many potty breaks as needed and as much play time during their stay. I ask you provide the following items during their stay to make your pup as comfortable as possible: 1. Food with instructions on amounts/times 2. Leash and collar/harness 3. Comfort items if needed (toys, beds, crate)

I was almost offended 😂, but to me, that’s a great sign and makes me feel comfortable and at ease to leave him while away for an extended period. “Our very social and attention-craving lab mix loved his stay with Natalia and Edward.
