“Tiffany is a great communicator and is a very reliable walker. And most importantly, Gibson loves her! It’s always apparent in the pictures she shares, because he’s always smiling :)”

About: While you are away, let your dogs enjoy a pupcation! My wife and I have been caring and training dogs for 10+ years. We have a fenced yard with a lake just beyond that. We currently have 2 friendly dogs who love to play. We can guarantee your dog will have an awesome time! We will train your dog as well if you would like. Dogs will get walked every day and plenty of play time. In this house hold, dogs are part of the family! Able to adapt and provide whatever care you require for your dog. I work 6am - 2pm and my wife works at a hospital over night. So there is always someone home to look after the dogs. If you want, we can take the dog out to the lake. We take ours out there all the time, it is shallow. But if you don't want them to, they don't need to. Our yard is fully fenced and cut off from the pond. Both my wife and I work, but she works night and I work days. So at all times we have someone home watching the pups. We treat your dog just like they were our own. We give them all the love, attention and care that they need. Your dog will gets plenty of play time, cuddles and care.
About: Hello! I have over 10 years of experience caring for animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, and even exotic birds. I myself have two cats who I adore and would do anything for. Alongside walks, potty breaks, meal prepping, and grooming, I also have experience with elderly animals and medication administration. My oldest cat is a 17 year old calico with health complications, and I’m very used to giving her meds and any additional care that is required. I can’t wait to meet your pets and help you care for them while you’re away! I do freelance work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule that allows for trips, walks, potty breaks, and any additional time required for care. I have two cats at home and don’t have a fenced yard. However if your pet is comfortable with cats or other cats and you are okay with leashed breaks they are more than welcome!
“Thank you Jasmine for coming through in the clutch to be able to watch the chocolate boyz. They really enjoyed you from beginning to end. Look forward to future bookings once the holidays are completed.”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs. I raised my current ones from a puppy and kitty and my wife added her standard poodle and pitbull into our pack many wonderful years ago. I’m currently active-duty military stationed here away from my family for a couple years (wife, 3 dogs, 1 cat all back home in Hawaii) so anytime I’m not working I would love to help care for yours! With our dogs back home we built great routines with multiple walks everyday, at least 1 trip to the park with a tennis ball, monthly hikes, and spur of the moment beach trips. I am completely open to maintaining your family’s routines or creating new ones!
“Thanks once again Sabine. I reached out to her pretty late in the evening but she was still able to work out something that worked for us both. I appreciate her flexibility.”

“Aaron was wonderful! This was my first Rover experience and he put me completely at ease, even offering to come to my house beforehand to meet our two dogs. He was always prompt and communicative and I loved receiving pictures at the end of their walks. I highly recommend Aaron!”
About: Hi! My name is Rachel and I just moved to Colorado from Maryland (born and raised in Minnesota) and I am a huge cat lover/cat mom. I have two big Siberian male cats and they are my babies. My cats are basically my best friends and I do anything to make them happy (outside deck time, stroller rides, hydrating meals). I work 5 mins from where I live so my visits can be anytime before 830am and after 330pm. I gained a lot of experience watching cats in Maryland through Rover, as well as working at a Pet hotel (more information below). I always feel a real connection with cats and treat them better than I do most humans. 😹 I previously worked at Stay Pet Resort in Hanover, MD July 2023-November 2024 as their "Cat Person" playing and taking care of the boarding cats Thursday-Sunday for about 3-5 hours depending on how many cats. I understand adjusting to different personalities and seeing where each cat strives. Welcoming back returning cats is such a joy! I believe I have built relationships with many of these cats and I miss them all very much! I am available for drop-by visits any day or time of the week and am very flexible with availability or cancellations. I can do longer visits if necessary. I am not fond of staying over night at someones house but cats can stay at my house. I believe it is very important for the pets to gently be acclimated to any new people that enter their homes. I am the guest, the pet is the owner of the house and I need to respect them first before gaining respect. Bringing treats or catnip and toys with most likely helps. Speaking in a quiet, calm and high pitched voice is important. Using key words like good boy, treats, its ok, etc.

“Pearl loves Conor, we say she is coming and we can't control her excitement. We are going to have to wean Pearl off her walks with Conor. We get a picture everytime Conor walks her. Conor has been a godsend since we injured ourselves and have not been able to give Pearl the walks she needed. Pearl sleeps like a baby when she has an afternoon walk with Conor.”

“Joshua was very thoughtful and communicative! We’re looking forward to having him as part of our regular walking team for our pups. The dogs loved him and we appreciate the help and genuine care!”

“Emmy was wonderful. She is responsible, caring and really good with dogs. Ellie enjoyed daily walks and play time at the park. Emmy went above and beyond and always asked if she could more. I plan hire her again and will recommend her to my friends. We were very happy with Emmy’s service.”

“This week was the first time, hopefully of many, Ashley and Olivia walked our 2 dogs, a lab and a husky. We appreciate their communication, good questions they asked at our first meeting, and care expressed for our pups! Thank you for helping us take care of our pups!”

Fort Meade dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley has been a life saver when I need a mid-day walk during the week for my two little pom babies. I've used several Rover sitters in the past, and she is by far the most responsive, usually responding within a few minutes. She is also extremely flexible and has been willing and able to adjust on short notice. I'm so glad I found Ashley and will be using her regularly for my dog walking needs.
