“Lauren was Amazing! She loved and cared for Biscuit as if she was her own. She kept Biscuit on her usual schedule with exercise, feeding, potty breaks, and daily play time with our neighbor’s pup. She moved Biscuit’s bed in to the guest room with her so Biscuit could sleep right next to her; which she did each night, and even with a snuggly blanket and toys. Lauren sent up cute pictures each day of Biscuit chilling and/or playing. Our neighbor said that Biscuit hung tight to Lauren’s side when they would stop over to play. I know they formed a special bond! We will be asking Lauren back whenever we go away, as we feel confident in her care taking of our fur baby! Lauren cleaned the house, mopped the floor, did all dishes, and changed and washed bedding, blankets, and all towels…including dog towels (rained a lot). We were able to thoroughly enjoy our week long vacation knowing that Biscuit was being very well cared for. Also, Lauren left a summary note for us to come home to. We got multiple updates a day from Neri and she was so flexible when our travel plans changed at the last minute. After staying in my home with the dog for a week, the house was spotless. Rachel did an amazing job with our dog Murphy while we were away for the weekend. Murphy can be particular with who he gets along with and they hit it off great. She also kept an eye on the house by bringing in a package, shutting off a water valve on a toilet that was running, and watering some plants while we were away. Our flight got delayed for 4 hours and she was able to do his night meal and pills so he wouldn’t be delayed. She sent great updates throughout the day and pictures. Being newer to the area it can be stressful to find a new dog sitter so I am so thankful we found someone trustworthy and who gets along great with our boy.
Kerri is so great with our animals and this is the second time we’ve had her watch them, and hopefully not the last. She is trustworthy and respectful of our home and we really appreciate the extra care she gives to our anxious dog. Such a great sitter and we feel so grateful to have her.
We "reserved" Ava for a trip we're taking in May. We had an opportunity for a "trial run" with her for the overnight stay Feb. 7-8. We had a meet and greet with her the weekend before our overnight. We were anxious to meet and get to know Ava. Not only were we leaving our precious Finn with someone we really didn't know, we were also leaving her in the care of our home. You know how there are people you meet for the first time and you just click? This is how we felt about Ava. From the moment she walked into our home for the meet and greet, it felt like we'd known her for quite a while--comfortable, friendly and easy going. Finn felt the same as he went right to her and was comfortable the whole time Ava was here. We left her with Finn and the house for the night, knowing both were in good hands. We were right. Finn greeted her at the door and didn't seem "sad" to see us go. We got texts from Ava and a picture to let us know all was well. When we got home, it didn't look like anyone had been here. She cared for our home as she cared for Finn. We look forward to having Ava return in May--and probably before that as well. She's wonderful!
Jaci did a great job house-sitting my old pup. He has a number of health issues, and she asked great questions about his care during our meet & greet. With her background in veterinary care, she was knowledgeable of his medications and I felt secure that he'd be in very capable hands.
