About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I treat every dog like they’re my own. Which is with patience, love, and close attention to their individual needs. I have hands on experience caring for senior dogs, dogs with diabetes (including insulin administration), and doggies with anxiety or medical conditions that require a little extra TLC. I’m also familiar with vet visits, oral medication administration, baths, and special diets restrictions. Whether your dog needs long walks, gentle care, medication, or just someone to cuddle with while you’re away, I’m your girl!! Hi there! I’m Sarah, a compassionate, experienced pet sitter and nursing student with a soft spot for senior pups, cuddly dogs, and quirky cuties. With a background in medication administration and daily pet care, I bring not just love but skill to every walk, visit, and overnight stay. Whether I’m giving insulin shots or playing fetch, I meet your dog where they’re at with patience and care. Pet care is already a part of my everyday life. I build my routine around feeding, walking, playing with, and checking in on the dogs I care for. I’m used to giving meds on a schedule, cleaning up accidents, and adapting to each dog’s unique needs and personality. Whether it’s early afternoon walks, late night cuddles, or midday play breaks, caring for animals is something I make time for because I truly enjoy it. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I stick to the pet’s routine as closely as possible, such as feeding times, walks, play, potty breaks, and any meds or special care they need. I pay attention to their body language, mood, and habits so I can adjust as needed and make sure they feel comfortable. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space, keep things tidy, and make sure their pet is cared for just like they would be if their person never left.

“This was the first time Morgan & Jahcarre watched our dogs. They came over for a meet and greet well in advance and then a quick refresher a couple of days before the trip. They were very responsive and understood the different personalities our dogs have. We will not hesitate to have them watch our dogs again.”

About: I have been a walker with Rover and Wag for many years. During my undergraduate tenure in Philadelphia, and since I moved home to DC and earned my Master’s, I have found a lot of happiness and reward in taking a break from academics and athletics to love every pup I can. I am responsible, organized, adherent to schedules, and I am very flexible as well. Many of my friends and family members have dogs, so I have a significant amount of experience tending to the needs of animals. Whether it’s a walk/run, an overnight, or play time and cuddles, I am sure I will be a great fit for everything your furry friend needs! Anything you need, just let me know. I can’t wait to work with you! I am currently a federal employee based near BWI, as well as a part-time rowing coach at my alma mater high school in Georgetown on the weekends. Let’s touch base and see if our schedules line up! I make it a point to be very respectful of owners’ homes! I am more than open to boarding, as I live in a very pet-friendly building, as well as open to sitting overnight in pets’ homes with them.

About: I have gained so much experience with animals over the years that I have been jokingly nicknamed “the animal whisperer” and Snow White. I have had dogs and a cat my whole life, as well as watching friends, coworkers, family members and networks pets. I also have experience in animal husbandry & care from my last research position. I accept all furry friends and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents! I currently work full time, approximately 6am-5pm (including my commute), so I am available any day after 5 for a dinner time walk or an overnight stay if pups or cats are okay being left alone for a bit. Please keep this in mind, especially regarding seniors or puppies. If your babies are used to that then I am totally fine with it. On weekends, however, I am available any time! I am able to follow any instructions given from the client and do have experience giving medication as well. I am attentive, will provide updates, always looking out for their well-being, and loving. I will provide the most comfortable & approachable aura that I can to make all fur-babies feel safe 💕

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was a teenager. I’ve mainly done check ins or walks. I change pee pads/litter boxes, play with, and feed the animals when needed during the morning, day, and evening. I’m available during the weekdays and weekends during the morning, afternoon, and evening for check ins and walks so I’ll be able to care for your fur babies as needed! I will always make sure that fences are locked up and secure for play time as well as doors inside the house before I leave. I can also crate your fur baby if needed!

“I recently had the pleasure of observing Sarah care for two dogs over a three-month period, and I can't recommend her highly enough for your pet sitting needs. Sarah demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout the entire sitting period. She was incredibly responsive to the owners' messages and updates, sending detailed notes about the dogs' activities and health. She was very reliable - she never missed a feeding time or medication administration, even when balancing her own busy schedule as a nursing student. Speaking of medication, Sarah expertly handled the care of the dogs’ health issues, one having anxiety and the other having diabetes. She administered insulin injections with confidence and precision, carefully monitored blood sugar levels, and adjusted care routines when needed. She was also patient with the anxious pup, working to create a calm environment through consistent routines and gentle reassurance. Beyond the technical aspects of care, Sarah truly bonded with these dogs. She took them on varied walks, played their favorite games, and made sure they felt loved during their owners' extended absence. If you're looking for a pet sitter who combines true professionalism with genuine love for animals, Sarah is your person. Your furry family members will be in excellent hands.”
